Quick Question Regarding YCHs!
I've posted some saved YCHs that are running and should hopefully be settled by the end of the weekend and ironed out so I can begin work Wednesday!
But I had a question regarding future YCHs, Would you like them neater in the future?
To elaborate: I usually keep my YCH sketches-- just that, very sketchy. I feel like it is more of a proof of concept, and so can be highly customizable when someone buys the YCH.
However, I know that it leaves a little more to be desired by being so sketchy, so that's the question I pose! Are the current highly sketchy YCHs okay? Or would you be interested in possibly less customizable but more cleaned-up versions of them in the future?
As always, thank you so much for your time!

It's easy to look at the artist's gallery to see examples of their finished quality, and the sketchy look appears to offer more flexibility in character choice and expressions, etc...
When I see a refined YCH with say a reptilian character, even if the artist says 'any species', it feels like the artist is only really interested in drawing that character species and I will shy away from it if my character is not that species. Plus it feels as if expressions and such are pretty set in stone, even when it says that these can be changed.
I imagine a lot of people might prefer to see something more refined so they know what to expect out of the finished image, but I tend to enjoy seeing how an artist will interpret my character within the given idea, rather than how they might force my character to conform to a more rigid concept.
That's what I had been thinking and is something that I'm very happy to offer when I work on my YCHs, and I also try to offer relevant samples to similar pieces whenever I do a YCH that I've done similar work for before! I just have for sure seen different YCHs and some much more refined. Since I often work with a few YCHs at a time, I just wanted to gauge what people liked seeing more! I could invest in more refined YCHs if everyone wanted to see closer to the finished product, you know?
It's the perspective I run by too, so it's very nice to hear a perspective that works with not only how I make commissions, but how I usually like to order them, too!
Again, thank you so much for your feedback!
