I know most of my current audience is into vore, but I do know there were people before that and probably after that who liked seeing my general stuff, since I progressively got more into vore, it hadn't been all at once.

Aw congrats on 1000! I agree with what Reddragon2001 said in that option 2 would be the best option, a raffle for both a vore art piece and a general art piece, but you could also combine options 1 and 2 together. But then again, whichever you feel comfortable and happy doing, it’s up to you!

I could probably combine them into one submission but allow people to maybe comment on which one they want? Or, if they want an option at both, that's also fine. I think the multi-slot vore ych would be amazing!

I think most people here saying that one vore and one non vore are saying that out of a desire to be fair but Given all three people saying that have posted vore in their gallery I doubt that there are that many people that would participate in this who would actually prefer something not vore related from you.

Correction one of the three is an artist who as done vore commissions rather than making it for themselves or commissioning vore to my knowledge and may in fact prefer a non vore piece.

Thank you for looking into this in-depth! The reason I was waffling was that I definitely know at this current time, I think the majority of my watchers like vore in some way, especially my newer ones! I've become progressively more overt with it as time's gone on.

But I know that I used to do general art for a few years before that, so the first parts of my watcher group were general and might not overlap with the later vore. I'm not sure how many watchers there are that would want non-vore, but that's why I wanted to see!

What I'm currently thinking is I can probably run the two raffles as people are suggesting, but use it as an opportunity to see how many people would want just general art. That'd be good to know in the future!

For the 1000+ watchers thing, instead of rewarding just one or two random watchers, maybe ask for watchers' personal pred+prey character refs and then let your audience decide? Keeps everyone involved AND gives you feedback.
Just a thought/suggestion... is up to you to decide, of course. Hope that helps. Just please, please, please, please do NOT Use Google Docs....my opinion.

Also, yes, for other watchers, something similar that's fun and innocent would be a nice gesture. (iThink? iDunno)

The basic framework I was picturing was start by opening the contest to ALL Watchers, to post their OC's for pred/prey slots semi-sorta like a YCH, but instead of selling slots, use a vote-raffle to determine the winners.

Once you have a full list of contestants for each slot, filter the results a bit. Disqualify ones you'd have a REAL hard time drawing and/or have features or required behaviors that totally squick you.
I said NO HEART TATTOOS right in my "will not draw" list and I MEAN IT!
Next, make a journal post announcing the contenders (with links, if possible) and have watchers pick THREE DIFFERENT favs for each slot. Three votes each to give you an idea of general fav's; might even wanna make it top four or five for each watcher so the real crowd pleasers will stand out. DIFFERENT Fav's so a single character can't win a finalist selection because of just one or two all-in dedicated fans.

...also important, keep the voting results secret to avoid tainting unfinished results. (...and ask fans not to say who they voted for out of respect)
Private notes will be severely unweildly even if you're getting only two hundred watchers to vote, so will have to look fora good voting page (or program your own).
If you use something off-site, BE SURE to get a FA username and check it against your Watched-by list to keep things fair.

Tally the numbers and cut the list down to just the top three/five/ten/etc. for each. and have a final round of voting.
Might be nice of you to console the ones whom get voted out with comments and compliments so there's no hard feelings. Y'know, keep things positive, and encourage watchers to keep it clean and stay involved.
(Oh! Wow, I thought for sure you'd be a finalist. Aw, too bad, super-cute. Sorry to see ya go b'cuz love that tummy/love them IN tummy.

Try your best to avoid more than two rounds because the process can/will bog down and turn dull in a hurry. If you need a tie-breakers, either have a final judge or small panel of final judges, or weight your long-time watchers' votes or something.


Okay, that turned out more complicated than I was thinking, but trying to go for something that will be fun for everyone.
