honestly speaking, i think generative ai is not to be completely discarded. but still, what they do with the whole "make a chat to talk and rp with a certain character" is fucking cringe.

we got enough skilled voice actors who could easily replicate those voices, so this is just an excuse to not pay them.

I wish more people have basic respect of not doing questionable things to others' creation (and make them public even) without asking for permission. The AI bros, they surely know most creators are against generative AI, and they still do it, which is shameful to say at least.

Yeah, now that it's here, nobody is safe from it. I personally believe generative AI has some merit when used as a supplement for one's creativity, rather than a substitute, but we all know too many people are gonna use it for the latter. What I'm more worried about is AI being used for malicious intent; it's capable of making the mainstream Internet completely unusable.

Regarding the last part: it's already happening.
