>B: Get washed up

You poke your head through the large hole in the mud-and-clay wall that passed for a door- common in all homes in the village- leading to the primitive bathroom area. Inside was a common display: a small hole in the floor that sunk into a sandpit, used as a basic toilet, and an uncomfortably tiny wooden tub already filled with used water, just big enough to hold a single person inside so that they could rinse off with no form of relaxation. You wonder for a moment if it's alright to use the tub, but Phiodel did say to help yourself...

You move next to the tub and work off the stretchy leather of your animal fur bra, letting it fall to the floor after removing it, and do the same to your loincloth. As it hits the ground, you realize that you've never been naked in another person's house before, and you hope that your host doesn't leave his room anytime soon- living alone leaves room for many luxuries, including not having to put grass dividers on the bathroom door. Carefully, you step into the cold water of the tub and contort yourself into a form that will actually fit inside. With your tail and knees squeezed into opposite ends of the tub, you gather handfuls of water and spill them over your piss-stained fur, hoping to Nanako that it will help clear the stains from your body.

You work the water into your fur and skin, rubbing it all out as much as you can. You even put a little attention to your long brown hair, adding to it's dulling shine. The cold water wakes you up a bit, making you a bit more focused. Plus the fact that most of the pee left on you by those idiot barfighters earlier was now washed away makes you feel a bit more comfortable about your appearance and smell. After a short time of bathing, you decide that it's time to climb out. You grip the sides of the tub and struggle to get dislodged from the cramped tub, though it doesn't take too long to be able to stand up again.

You quickly slip your clothes back on, a little annoyed that your loincloth hasn't really dried up yet, and move back into the living room where Phio is waiting at the table. Up on seeing you, he speaks.

"Ah, hope you had a nice bath, because if you still intend on following me, we'll be leaving now. I got what I came for."

At this, he brandishes twin daggers of a remarkably high quality, even by fourth-wall standards, decorated with runic handles and blades, and curved in an arabic fashion. Minus the runes, these are fairly standard among the Hunters that choose these weapons. You wonder for a moment weather the symbols etched into these blades mean anything, but you figure that they are just for decoration.

"Where are we going, then?" you ask.

"Into Nanako Vosi, to find the Canids."
