Post Didnt-Go-To-AC Journal

It was a pretty long 6 days for me. It started off as hell and slowly got better.
I purposly held meets this weekend so that I could make myself busy.
I spent July 4th in a car. This is not a holiday for me. It is pretty from a distance, but I guess I'd only be interested if I was at disney LOL I drove 3 hours one way to the wrong town with Xiris to pick up a dog.. turns out the right town was 6.5 hours away in 1 direction #YaRight. I sorta fell asleep while driving a couple times.. lol
I spent that friday rather exhausted at work with the dogs and then tried to stay awake for my midnight denny's meet, which was pretty fun. I ate too much food and was so sleepy afterwards. I had work at 8am that next morning and I didnt get to bed till 3.. and people kept me up .. #ugh
Spent saturday morning so tired and had to bathe dogs and then wait for my boss to let me leave because my schedual was open ended as to the leave time.. Had a bbq meet at my parents house that night. I grilled things, watched some movies, ate ice cream.. and I kept falling asleep... Everyone that slept over left at like.. 7-8am which I'm not really understanding.. I was so tired it didnt make sense LOL
I woke up at noon with grace on my chest..
I visited a lady who I hope I will be doing a trade with for Baby, my quaker parrot for one of her 3 baby cockatiels. When I told my dad about this, he was guilt tripping me into keeping him. He says he likes the bird more then the cats, but I'm telling him that his behavoir is not fitting my lifestyle.. I dont have time to wrestle a bird out of its cage so it can go enjoy time outside e__e or get bit in the face..
I've herd a lot of good things about 'teils and it would be a great way to show people the difference between a cockatoo and a cockatiel xP But mostly to have a sweet bird that wont leave scars on my hands..
We're just waiting for the tiels to wean, they are fully fledged but I think the owner isnt really providing enough things for the baby birds to eat. I just hope the bird I get is in ok health Px It will probably be a male pearl, but the 2 pearls she has are just too young to tell (after the 1st molt it will be more clear).

ANd I feel ok.
I just need to figure out a better way to do art when its this hot. I have wednesday and thursday off. I want to complete a lot of art, just cant do it when the humidity makes my hand/wrist/arm stick to the tablet LOL

Glad you made the most of the weekend. We streamed arts and Pokemon gameplay! :D
I get to see them again this comming weekend. I just want to take the little guy home with me lol
She was suggesting the one I was holding for its personality, it seems to be the oldest one and is more active. Id love to walk away with all three of the babies xD they are very precious little fledges xP
It may be that it was more expensive a while back, but I'm not sure Px
On my end other then the usual lame weekend at work I am good, working on commissions and personal art, building my portfolio for professional jobs, and watching a BUNCH of old school Disney.
