I stopped using YIM a few months ago when I would log in it would say there is a problem with my internet but I am logged into my other chat programs like skype.

i haven't touched YIM in a year or so. I just use yahoo for mail. It's acting like Windows Vista.

I stopped using yahoo mail many years ago when I was not getting emails from people trying to get a hold of me. I use gmail and I am very happy with them. I have had gmail for over 3 years now and have not had any trouble with it.

You could probably block the ads. Or switch to skype, which still has ads. Or switch to Trillian, which only has text ads every random so often unless you pay like $7 or something and that lasts a year. Trillian can sign into yahoo by the way.

Yahoo is a vacation to me compared to Facebook. They've been acting like identity nazis lately. Banned my account and others for not using a "Real Name" while all other furries are now scrambling to change their names.

No kidding. They made me change mine, and I'm still miffed about it.

Same :c I had to make a new account all together. They refuse to allow me to change mine back despite no warning. And That account was linked to my musicians page.
