Let's have a KIGU BUKKAKE party!

I mashed my finger. I was doing something myself that I should have waited for help with. While trying to fix the floor in my attic, I had to pry up a 4x8 sheet of plywood. Well, I had it part way up and it slipped. My left pointer finger was right on the line between where the piece fell, and where the next piece was. It smashed my finger and the skin on the end burst like a little balloon and started gushing blood. Even though it smashed pretty thin, I don't think I broke it.
I'm surprised it wasn't as painful as it sounds, at least at first. It was covered in black dust from my 125-year-old house, and mixed with blood that wouldn't stop. I got it all washed up now, which hurt a lot more than the accident itself, and the bleeding is stopped. Luckily, I had a tetanus shot two years ago, so I should be safe in that area. It looks pretty gross, but it is clean with a layer of Neosporin on it. I know, I shouldn't have been working a two-man job alone in my attic on Easter, but the work needs to be done before it starts getting too hot up there, and finding help is darn near impossible. Luckily, it was on my left hand, and I'm right-handed.

D'aww I've done that kinda thing before. Ouch is right. At least you got it cleaned up, and hopefully got some work done before the injury!
Additionally I just read your "happiness is like wetting your pants.." line; lol :D
As for wetting my pants - I'm surprised I didn't when I smashed my finger. It would have been a good excuse, but my mind was on my finger then!
It could have been worse. I could have stepped on one of those a tiny red Monopoly game houses. Those things are hard and sharp and made out of compressed pain! I did that once as a teenager, and it hurt for two weeks.
My finger is pretty good now. The dust from the attic is not so fun though. I bought some filter masks to wear the next time I work, as the old attic dust I was stirring up was irritating my throat.
I'll be working on it tomorrow, since it's going to be pretty cold. They are forecasting snow for tomorrow here, even though it is almost May.
