How was it?

I brace myself for the onslaught of photos you post after every convention you attend.

Heh. I'm going to try to do them in smaller chunks, so that the wait isn't as long, and the number uploaded per day is lower. :)

I don't remember the final count off hand, but the total attendees was over 1200, and but I do know the charity raised a total of $13,020

The final attendance tally was 1,247 guests -- a 45% increase over last year. The collection for the Pipsqueakery was also an increase. The main downside was having to move from the Radisson, which was more convenient what with a convenience store/gas station just a walk across the parking lot, and a 5th/3rd across the street. The Crown Plaza is kind'a out of the way.

Missed you at the Rodent SiG. I skipped out on Saturday after the Fursuit Parade for the Poker room at the Hollywood. That was the epitome of "grind" -- long stretches of running card dead, lots of up and down, but patience paid off in the end and I paid for about 2/3rds of Anthrohio.

Definitely looking forward to the pics. With Rat's Eye on the job, I left my camera in the room. One less thing to have to carry around and worry about losing.

Wow. That's a huge increase over last year. It definitely showed with the fact that there was never any completely dead periods. In the past, there was always an hour or more after the parade and then again around dinner time, where I'd only see a couple of fursuiters wandering around. This year, there was always people about, doing things.

Yeah, I missed all the fun events on Sunday. Hopefully next year, I'll be able to spend the entire con there.

It's weird driving past where the old hotel was and seeing a big, vacant lot after tearing it down. Been going there since 2006 and have a lot of fun memories.

I'll be working on the photos in small batches, so that I can start uploading them here quicker. Just going to take a while to get them posted up. :)

The host site did a full upgrade on their back end that messed everything up, and with everything else going on, I haven't had the time to go through and fix what I need to fix that they broke.

I'm also going to be doing away with that site for the photos, as I really don't like uploading photos to a database like that uses. Too many things can go wrong.

I have a new domain and am working on getting that started for my photo gallery instead, but as with everything else, it will take some time due to real life being so busy:
