I'm gonna keep this brief and just sum up the good and bad parts of the con.
Good: Roommates who put up with this dumb wolf. I want to apologize to

Good: Meeting tons of awesome people. Was great meeting

Good: I finally went to a dance at a con. Dancing in fursuit is fun but exhausting. I stumbled back to the room and collapsed soon after I was done.
Good: The food. I only went out to food a few times, but Denny's and Mango (really damn good thai place) were well worth it.

Bad: I drank way too much. I need to cut down on how much I drink, big time. Slightly drunk Blaidd is fun. Really drunk Blaidd is an asshole. I think when I drink in the future, I'm going to let friends cut me off before I have too much.
Bad: Rain. RAIN. RRRAAAIIINNN. So much of it. We had to use the shorter fursuit parade route. :(
Bad: Some of how the con was run this year wasn't great. The reg line was sluggishly slow. There was only one headless lounge this year (vs two last year). The con staff were not only requiring badges to get into things, but you had to have the officially lanyard, too (a really dumb and arbitrary policy IMO). Con staff were also checking badges at the weirdest places. HOPEFULLY, next year will bring about a change in policy with the new con chair.
Despite the bad, the con was an overall good experience. :D

Need advice (Fursuit Related)
Posted 12 years agoMy suit is a tad too big/loose. Has been since I got it. (My fault, I shipped the DTD wrong and I think it got stretched.) I can send it back to fursuiting and get it resized. But that'd require making a new DTD (an unpleasant experience), 150 dollars, and trusting the postal service with it all again. So, I'm wondering if there is anyone who'd help me take it in either here in Oregon or in Washington. I'd prefer someone with suitmaking experience, as my maker told me that if it was damaged in being resized, she wouldn't fix it. Voiding the warranty sorta thing.

It looks amazingly fun and it'd probably help me get in shape. I've been told by a few people to start by watching choreography videos and trying to mimic them. I'm gonna try and start doing that.

Saw people I hadn't seen in years.
Got my drink on.
Laughed til I couldn't breathe at FC Unleashed and 2/Kage's shows.
