I'm not dead
Posted 7 years agoI swear I'm not actually dead or anything, I've just been very busy. It's nothing bad, it's just that work and college take up a large portion of my time so I haven't exactly been able to work on anything. I still check back fairly regularly to make sure no one has any pressing questions for me, I just haven't had the time for suit work. Worry not I have several exciting projects to be worked on soon that I'm hoping to at least mostly finish in time for Denfur in August. Then after that it'll be back to commissions.
Thanks everyone for being so patient, especially those who have been waiting to commission a suit from me. I promise I'll get back to work as soon as I can.

Badge/icon/portrait with no background-
Headshot: $25
Bust: $30
Fullbody: $35
Portrait with simple background-
Headshot: $35

Portraits/illustrations with complex backgrounds will vary depending on what is desired in it so message me if this is what you are interested in. Count on nothing below $50.
Ref sheets will also vary but will similarly be at least $50. Again message me for more info on this one.
Accessories and props will also add on to the price. I reserve the right to up the price as I see fit if your character and/or desired action is complex or tedious.
Also note that nothing is being printed or shipped. You will receive a high quality, unwatermarked version through email.
My commissions run on a first come, first serve basis, so the faster you secure a slot the higher you'll be on the list. You will need to pay in full before your piece is started. If you are lower on the list you will not be required to give payment until your piece is ready to be started. If you are unable to make payment when it's your turn, your slot will be transferred to the next person on the list. Payment via PayPal only.

Selling Zero
Posted 8 years agoI've decided that I'm going to be selling one of my more recent suits, Zero, pictured here on either furbuy or the dealers den. I never wear her or even draw the character so she might as well go somewhere where she'll actually be worn and the character can actually get some love. So if you're in the market for a new character+suit keep an eye out.

Posted 9 years agoI'm so relieved to say that little by little my life has slowly been calming down. This being said, I may be able to get back to doing commissions again in the near future. I'm thinking however that I will probably start with a collab premade before returning to customs. After the premade I already have one slot(maybe two) already promised to people who couldn't get their commission in before my problems started arising. After that I may be open to taking on more fursuit commissions once again. Thanks for being patient with me.
Ugh
Posted 9 years agoI've been so stuck on what I wanna do with my life. I mean making fursuits is great but I don't think I'd be able to turn that into a full career. I'm just not fast or skilled enough for that to carry all my weight I would need something else to contribute. For a few years I've been debating between animation and game design and haven't been able to figure out which one I like more. Then just recently I thought of "what if I tried illustration?" Illustration also seems like a neat career but I'm still stuck between the others as well. So now I have three possibilities to sift through. Plus, my family does not have a lot of money right now. It's been a very hard year for us. So my chances of going to a decent school are close to none and if I pick one of the three but then figure out I don't like that one and would like to try one of the others I can't because I will no longer have the money to try anything else. So if I make the wrong choice I'm dead in the water. Chances are I'm dead in the water regardless of what I choose. I don't even know what to do about it anymore.
About fursuit commissions-please read
Posted 9 years agoI wanted to make an announcement that I will not be doing any more fursuit commissions for a while. The ones that are paid/partially made will still be completed but I will not be taking on any more for some time. A lot have bad things have happened in my life over the past few months that I'd rather not talk about or parade around but regardless these things have made it nearly impossible to work on fursuits. So until things brighten up and I am able to work on stuff I will not take on any more large commissions. I may still accept small things like tails and I may still open up for some small art commissions here and there but anything more complex is a no go. People on my commissions queue who haven't paid yet are welcome to wait until I can get started again or decide to look for another maker. I am very sorry for any inconveniences this has caused. I promise I will try to open back up as soon as I can.
Starting a dance crew with Qyt

As many of you already know, Qyt and I are officially starting our very own fursuit dance crew. We plan to compete in dance competitions, as well as just make our own dance videos for the fun of it. We still have two slots available for people wanting to be a part of it. We are accepting people via video entries on YouTube, Instagram, vine, etc.
So if you want to be one of those two more people in the crew be sure to dance for us. All you need to do is show us some of your fursuit dancing. But make sure you live in Colorado near Denver/castle rock and even near Colorado Springs if you're ok with a longer drive. You need to be able and willing to make it to meeting times and places so that we can all do some practicing together.
So as long as you are mobile, have a fursuit, and are a local, feel free to send us some dancing. I highly advise you make a whole new dance just for us. Be dedicated. If you're uncomfortable posting your dance somewhere send me a note and I'll give you my email so you can send it to me directly. Don't be afraid to ask me any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.
I expect great things from everyone.

RMFC review
Posted 9 years agoAnd as fast as it came RMFC is gone. Still one of my favorite cons I've been to. Overall this year was kinda disappointing but it was all for personal reasons. I got really sick so if it weren't for that I would have had a lot more fun. It was still a good time anyway though. I didn't really do much of any suiting since I didn't feel well at all so I missed out on a lot of fursuiting adventures but that's ok. there will plenty of other years to come and hopefully then I won't be puking.
The dance competition was fun. I almost bailed on it since I was so ill but I went for it and I didn't throw up on the dance floor so I think I'm the real winner here. My performance sucked but hey I did it. I guess that's what I get for taking three days to choreograph my dance XD. Hopefully I'll be better prepared next year(I'm a master procrastinator).
That's really all I can say. Nothing really happened cause I didn't do much besides hang out in the hotel room with my friends who were also sick. It was just a big sick party. Next year will be better though. It was still nice being able to see some old friends and also meet some new ones. And it was kinda nice walking around the con without a fursuit for a change. Very refreshing. And a lot easier to see what's being sold in the dealers den.
Next year I'm also hoping to be able to wear a new suit of a different character of mine. The suit is technically being made as a big school art class project but hey it's still mine so might as well make it awesome and wear it to cons once it's done going through shows to try to win me some scholarships. So be ready to see what happens on that front. Let's hope I can get it done.

Posted 10 years agoFor the past few years I've always been able to sign up for RMFC's dance competition ahead of time, whether it's contacting the person running it or signing up on the con website. But this year I've been sent in circles trying to figure out how I can get signed up for it. I'd really like to be able to sign up online since the slots are so limited and go so quickly. I really want to secure my spot. If anyone has any helpful information please let me know!

Posted 10 years agoRMFC is so close I can almost taste it. I can't believe its already only two months away! I still need to choreograph my dance routine for the competition Q^Q someone please motivate me to do it. Speaking of dance competition, does anyone know when/where pre registration for the competition is opening? I've been told multiple different things and I really just wanna make sure I can enter it cause the slots go so quickly. If anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks. See you all at rmfc!

Rmfc review
Posted 10 years agoWell it ended as soon as it came but I still had a lot of fun while it lasted. I was super excited to have the chance to debut my new suit, Twitch. I worked my fingers off the few weeks before the con to get his new head done in time and I am pretty pleased with the outcome.
Friday night I was in the dance comp. I had a heart attack when my music file decided that it didn't wanna play anymore but the problem was fixed thanks to my bf with my phone lol. I was so shocked when they announced that I placed second. I honestly didn't expect to place at all so wow!(sorry I forgot to come kill 2 with you telephone. I done did forgot). I also had fun at the rave for like 5 minutes(maybe).
Saturday was slightly uneventful. Not a whole ton happened but hey, I met some awesome people from Arizona and I really wish I snagged their fa's. [insert sad, pouty face here]. My friend and I were planning on starting some random dance battles but that never happened :/ oops. Whatcha gonna do? Am I the only one who is still surprised at how short of a distance the fursuit parade was? That was like, a smallish circle....
Sadly on Sunday we had to leave super early but oh well. No sense in getting all worked up about it now. I wish the con lasted just a little longer. I don't quite feel satisfied. I was in a way wanting to spend a lot of money but I just didn't find a whole lot that I really wanted. I was hoping to be able to find a nice collar but there weren't really any good sellers this year. I'm super touched by how many compliments I got on my dance performance as well as Twitch's suit in general. You all made me feel so special. I'm also surprised so many people knew who I was. Oh and shadow and I got a big kick out of everyone thinking she's arrow and then being like oh shit when they find out I sold her the suit XP.
I'm super excited for next year and what it may hold! Who knows if I'll be wearing twitch or not.
Overall, RMFC2014: FABLOUS!

Posted 11 years agoSo hyped for this year's rmfc! I can't believe how fast it's coming up! Fells like just yesterday we had three months and now look, we have like 24 days!!! I'm so excited and I'm bringing all my minions this time so watch out everybody. Anyone looking to say hi just keep a new out for twitch. I'll leave the rest for you to figure out. With luck I should also be competing in the dance competition so be ready for that madness. I actually did my choreography this year so I won't look like a wounded chicken or something XD. Anyway hope to see a lot of you there!

anzhelika many people have been mistaking her for me at cons and it gets awkward and frustrating for both people involved. So everyone who didn't read my last journal about this please note that this suiter is no longer me and is not arrow! The new name for the character is now shadow! Also everyone remember to vote for who you would like me to make into a suit next in my last journal titled "conflicted". I just can't seem to choose between arrow and dubstep. So far the winner is looking like it will be dubstep so everyone who wants to vote do so now.

Posted 11 years agoSo it would seem that we are no longer getting a new scanner so I've decide to take pictures of everything with my phone even though the camera isn't great. I posted a few today but then a storm came in and now it's night so the others will have to wait till tomorrow when I have decent lighting. On another note art commissions are now temporarily closed until I finish my current list.

Posted 11 years agoSo I've decided that I'm going to sell arrow's old partial after all as I've made some slight adjustments to the character and plan to remake her suit one day. I will probably auction her off on furbuy for cheap. If anyone decides to claim her before I do so feel free to let me know. I am only selling the suit, arrow's character is all mine.
