Posted 11 years agoxmas was alright for once, the best gift being my parents helping to pay for the repairs to the alignment issues with my car's front end which included the cost of 2 new tires.
I'm just thankful to have Kasper and Grace <3

demiure and plan to go out and visit them after the 25th is over with Px
Still trying to figure out my crazy life. Toying with the idea to cram two semesters with science classes to then go apply to vet school down at Tufts. Getting a job at Petco being a bather, not much, but its at least something. Broke things off with carcar because I'm too sick to care about people and because I'm crazy.

Posted 11 years agoHopefully you're enjoying me comming back from my dark rainstormy place and liking the new art I've been posting (:
I've been doing great despite being jobless. My parents have sort of throttled back on putting stresses on me in the usual way they do it in a less demanding way which is making it easier for me to complete the tasks/chores they ask rather then advoiding it.
They are also thrilled that I've applied to a vet tech program at my state uni. I dont have high hopes about getting in because of my checkered past, but lets hope I do because I really dont have much going for me.
I've been doing these cheapo drawings as a way to warm up to completing the larger owed works. Getting more comfortable with anthro again even though it pains me at times to do it ><
I've tended to some of the owed wounds via notes or emails, I have one person who is gone from fA (his account is disabled/blocked so I cant see what hes up to),
I appreciate your patience. I'm hopeing this mood is going to continue without too many hicups!

Posted 11 years agoA lot of stuff has been happening on my end.
After Wellbutrin wasn't doing a single thing, I asked to get put back on the Effexor; meds I had originally been on for about a year. The doc concluded that out of the three types of anti-D's I've been on, that was the one that worked best for me.
My mood and its stability has 360'ed into something so mind clearing. I am hoping that this feeling sticks! I think what also helps is my parents having a better understanding of what is going on as well as a better idea of how to handle my frustrating behavoir. I also am finally clear of all debt and ties from my ex bestfriend; stress that ate away at me quite often.
I got blood work done, something I hate/fear doing. The doc was going to use that for tweaking the meds and also to see if there was another issue going on with my mood problems.
I'm back to seeing a therapist, although its hard to talk about how I used to feel because I feel so great now loool but she is going to help me cope better with things that I get so worked up about.
I successfully rehomed my 2 cats and my cockatiel. I had the discussion with my parents about getting a dog. And guess what. I'm picking up a puppy tomorrow night.
My parents are finally saying they are proud of me, something I've been dieing to hear for quite sometime.
Soooo things feel pretty good. Figured I'd post something about it so that all you patient people waiting on art/refunds are informed.

Posted 11 years agoThe con was good, the people were awesome, but I was this zombie thing that tried to juggle it all.
I'm so glad I roomed with Xiris and Lynx because we all got to just be retarded depressed people together. It made the room very stress free and the lack of expectations of being awake at certain times or at certain panels, was awesome.
I guess I'm glad I wasn't sad at all during the con, there was one or two close calls where I accidentally delved too deeply into my problems with people while being drunk. I had a lot of good moments where I laughed for quiet a bit, which was nice.
If I was giving you the cold shoulder, thats just me wishing I didnt exist. Dont take it personally. I appreciate everyone that said hi to me weather I said hi back or not. I blame myself for not getting out much and not wanting to be asked how I am doing.

Things seem to be ok with me emotion-wise. I've been on Viibryd for the past 3 weeks. I've completly moved out of my apartment, just need to sign myself off the lease. My quaker parrot got rehomed, I now have a baby cockatiel and a young keet. The lack of paying for rent soon is going to take a lot of stress off me and make me able to go back to affording things, like inspecting my car and car insurance Px
I still stress pretty hard. I still cry like a 5 year old when my anxiety is so high. I have my good days and bad days, we cant all lead a perfect life. I still really like my job despite being threatened to get fired because I'm always late; I wish depression was considered a disability..

Post Didnt-Go-To-AC Journal
Posted 12 years agoIt was a pretty long 6 days for me. It started off as hell and slowly got better.
I purposly held meets this weekend so that I could make myself busy.
I spent July 4th in a car. This is not a holiday for me. It is pretty from a distance, but I guess I'd only be interested if I was at disney LOL I drove 3 hours one way to the wrong town with Xiris to pick up a dog.. turns out the right town was 6.5 hours away in 1 direction #YaRight. I sorta fell asleep while driving a couple times.. lol
I spent that friday rather exhausted at work with the dogs and then tried to stay awake for my midnight denny's meet, which was pretty fun. I ate too much food and was so sleepy afterwards. I had work at 8am that next morning and I didnt get to bed till 3.. and people kept me up .. #ugh
Spent saturday morning so tired and had to bathe dogs and then wait for my boss to let me leave because my schedual was open ended as to the leave time.. Had a bbq meet at my parents house that night. I grilled things, watched some movies, ate ice cream.. and I kept falling asleep... Everyone that slept over left at like.. 7-8am which I'm not really understanding.. I was so tired it didnt make sense LOL
I woke up at noon with grace on my chest..
I visited a lady who I hope I will be doing a trade with for Baby, my quaker parrot for one of her 3 baby cockatiels. When I told my dad about this, he was guilt tripping me into keeping him. He says he likes the bird more then the cats, but I'm telling him that his behavoir is not fitting my lifestyle.. I dont have time to wrestle a bird out of its cage so it can go enjoy time outside e__e or get bit in the face..
I've herd a lot of good things about 'teils and it would be a great way to show people the difference between a cockatoo and a cockatiel xP But mostly to have a sweet bird that wont leave scars on my hands..
We're just waiting for the tiels to wean, they are fully fledged but I think the owner isnt really providing enough things for the baby birds to eat. I just hope the bird I get is in ok health Px It will probably be a male pearl, but the 2 pearls she has are just too young to tell (after the 1st molt it will be more clear).

ANd I feel ok.
I just need to figure out a better way to do art when its this hot. I have wednesday and thursday off. I want to complete a lot of art, just cant do it when the humidity makes my hand/wrist/arm stick to the tablet LOL

I've lived with simple, non media/data phones and I'd like to take the next step and get one that actually does more.
I'm having a very hard time :C I wish Verizon wasn't so last decade with their non gsm phones. My best friend is with them and has an iPhone 3g and I was able to video call my mate with skype while we are out in town
I may cave in and go with them, but I would regret it later ;;
Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm looking for a phone that will let me at least do voice calls with skype..

Posted 14 years agoI was planning to go to the furbowl tonight, but the two hour drive was starting to eat away at me.
No one wanted to carpool with me and the one chance I had to join a carpool I was declined because of space. I really should have a 'free ride' pass from all the carpools ive done for other people ;;
I love being in my suit too much >:
This weekend better get better ._.
Despite fau brightening up my next weekend, it's also making me nervous. A 6 hour car ride to go to a con, trying not to get stuck in traffic, and the possibility of driving alone. At least I can look forward to two awesome roommates.
Think my head is so tired of thinking. I have a lot of things to think about and im tired of thinking. Its one of the reasons why I quit school, besides the delicious amounts of mental breakdowns during my monthly low mood..
