I just want to thank every single one of my friends. You sexy bastards have all been there for me and I love you all for it!
Now, onto the subject of art!
I'm going to be opening for five emergency slots for traditional badges, set at £10 each, including laminating and shipping and I'll also be opening for three "pay what you want" traditional slots for anything else (minimum of £10 each, please).

Posted 8 years agoThese last few months things seem to go from bad to worse. My boyfriend and I have split up, I'm out of work with no way to earn money at the moment, a lot of my friends no longer speak to me, only one or two even reply to me, and now to top things off, I'm feeling like a prisoner in my own home, confined to just one small room for most of the day.
Long story short, I'm pretty pissed off, bored and lonely.
Sorry for the short rant. Just needed to vent a little bit.

Seasons Greetings!
Posted 9 years agoWell, we are coming up to the end of the year, and boy, what a year it has been!!!
This year I have seen a lot of ups and downs, but thankfully the ups far outweigh the downs and I had some wonderful people around me to help me. Even if you don't know it, simply having you there helps me to pull through!
I'm still working in a busy kitchen as an assistant/porter (something I swore I would never do again), and though the work is fast paced and stressful at times, I have to admit, I enjoy it! so much so, that I am contemplating requesting proper training to become a chef after the busy Christmas season.
I lost some old friends, not due to any ones fault, but several months ago I came to the realization that we had all changed, drifted apart and become different people with different lives, goals and paths. It was a difficult moment for me, as I had lived with a lot of these people and considered them at one point to be my family, but to meet them again after a few years and feel like a total stranger knocked me way more than it should. At the time I was devastated, but time heals wounds and now I am just glad for the moments we had together. We need to remember that we all change, everyone of us, and we will all lose people who were once close, but the future holds so much more to look forward to!
Today marks the 4 month anniversary between
zargul and myself, and it's only a week until I fly out to see him for Christmas, new year (Silvester :P) and my birthday. To say I'm nervous is a bit of an understatement, but I'm equally excited too!! This is an adventure, my first time traveling without family and something I never imagined doing this year! I also never thought I would be trying to learn a new language! I'm still terrible at speaking German and can barely understand anything, but I am learning and will continue to improve!
For the first time in a long while, I have an idea of what I want to do... and for the first time in my life, I feel I am gaining the confidence to achieve those things, but we will see how everything goes.
I wish everyone here has a wonderful holiday and an amazing new year!

'ello, all!
Yet again, I have gone into not uploading and posting anything online, but this time I have a good excuse! Honest!!
These days I am so busy. I am currently working two jobs, only getting a lie in on one day of the week. If I am being honest, the hours could be better, and these last few months I have been taxed to buggery. But with some luck my tax rate will settle again soon and I should be getting more hours in my second job... Which will be nice~
In other news, I have joined a gym and I'm trying to live a little bit healthier, including cutting down on all my little vices (the excessive drinking, comfort eating and smoking, to name a few X_X). Its hard, and I will admit that I have had my moments of weakness and some set backs, but I am trying and making some good progress!
I also started my new college course last week. Ich lerne Deutsch. Oh ja!! XD
I am lucky enough to have my mate zargul to help me with that too
So that's what I have been doing these last few months, and the future is looking to be even more busy!
If all goes to plan, I will be traveling to Germany this December to spend some time with Zargul, and back again for next EF (and maybe even Bavarian furdance in Nürnberg OwO.... maybe~).
I also intend to FINALLY go to Confuzzled here in the UK with my best friends, 
kalix121, sonna and fluffy_ferret to name a few), as its just a short train journey.
So, in summary, busy, busy, busy, scanner and tablet still not working, and I may die of exhaustion soon, but I'm feeling happy, super chill and loved!

Posted 10 years agoSoo, looks like the battery on my tablet is dying... it takes nearly an hour to charge 1% (tried different power source thingies and wires and its all pretty much the same) so looks like Ima have to start saving for a new one or figure out how to fix this BS problem :/

Unintended art hiatus
Posted 10 years agoI was on a roll! like, seriously, been doing more art and enjoying it more than ever recently... Then the charger to my tablet broke, nearly a clean break in the wire D: so it looks like I will be unable to draw for the next few days/weeks until I can replace it.
(this also means I have lost my main source of alarm clock to wake up in the morning... This should be interesting...)

so, I am pretty bad at uploading art so I have decided to give myself a challenge of uploading at least one drawing of Sculie a week in a differnt art style. I have 30 listed which I will be picking at random. more may be added at a later.
This is just to keep me drawing something and trying out different techniques, not to steal others styles.
Todays chosen inspiration is 30s cartoons so please look forward to me actually drawing something for once!

I'm going to try my hand at leather working and I have seen some nice flex LED neon rope that I want to use too.

It was good fun but now Im totally knackered! I also got the see my nephew and neice for the first time since they were new borns! they are now 10 months old and getting quite huge!
On another note, I need a ref. sheet for Scul! A fursuit builder I LOVE has just opened quotes and I find myself lacking in the reffy department :/
So yeah, is anyone open for reasonably priced commissions to be done within the next couple of days?

I was apparently "too nervous"... so dispite the fact that I was one of the only people to 100% the test we were given, I was the only candidate who is unemployed so can start without giving a months notice (for a 9 month contract!) and a number of people in the company recommended me, I lost out to an older woman... its a vicious circle, I get nervous because Im worried I wont get the job, I dont get the job because I was nervous... fuck it...
this has knocked my confidance so much now... I wont be online this week on here or skype... if you need to get in contact with me, send me a note... Ill try to check those once a day

I have very little knowledge about the job itself, I have no idea how to get to the interview and I have no suitable attire (I dont think it will go down well if I turn up in a team rocket or band shirt...) and best of all? its in three days... THREE FUCKING DAYS! Hopefully my partner will have been paid by then or Im screwed as Im relying on public transportation to get from where I live to Ashby (I think its Ashby... where the fuck IS Ashby?!)
Can I have a meltdown right now? Oh, also, wish me luck... I need all of your luck!

Sephie and I are having financial issues at the moment due to the council and a few companies fucking up and still charging us bills for the old house. Most of that is sorted but out but council tax is putting a real strain on us.
Hopefully this should be less of a problem in upcoming months but if things get worse / stay as they are now I think I may have to start thinking about selling my partial :/
Please wish me luck in the pain in the ass that is know as job searching!

Posted 11 years agowell, im hoping to start making my new fursuit of scul once i have everything else in my life in order but that made me realise... I have never stopped to think about her back! All the pictures i have drawn of her (or art of her i have received) have been just the front or side view.
This may not seem like such a big deal to most people and there is always the option of leaving it grey, but that seems too plain to me. I personally have a couple of tats on my back so to have a blank slate on my fursona doesnt seem right.
I have been "umm-ing" and "ah-ing" for the past couple of days but nothing seems to work!

nor will I be on skype in that time either... its the dredded V-Day next week and I made some rather elaborate promises to my significant other so I need to make a fuck load of presents (cookies, chocolates, making a teddy and taping a guitar pick to a lolly stick -if you get that last one you are officially cool!-)
