Well, I got burnout of my programming job and quitted. I haven’t started job hunting yet but I think this would be a good opportunity to go back to art, I’ve been really inactive.

I'm reopening commissions because there is a sale in schoolism.com and I have this personal rule about using commission money to pay the art related stuff, so I will see how much can I get in the remaing 40 days :)

The new commissions are painterly style and a doodle thing (Check the commissions tab), both with a recording of the process. I might add more types like the old airbrush one, or something that takes me more hours like charmander one. Anyway, if you want some type of commission/painting I've done before, you can ask :)

I'm using the trial week of https://www.duetdisplay.com , I want to know if using Photoshop/Krita with ipad is worth it or if I should stick to Procreate. So I'm selling speedpaintings for 10USD to see if I it pays itself.

Update: Forget this, since the last MacOS and IpadOS update you can connect the iPad to a Mac without software lol

I'm buying an ipad pro (newest version) next week, I'm struggling between the 11 inches one and 12.9 one. Some people say 11 is too small, others say 12.9 is too big, what is your preference? I can't buy one and then return it and get the other because I will buy it in another country.

Well, today was the last FX class. In this 7 months I learned to make latex prosthetics, acrylic fangs, some quick makeup, latex puppets and masks. Enough for having some fun in the future. I first need to get some time and money for the materials. I quit my job in February and I've already spent my savings (and more :P).

I still haven't decided what I want to do. I'm a programmer and I'm curious about videogames but all the offers I get are about web development because I have experience with that. I also saw an announce about a hacker position that requires no experience, but I'm not sure if I would like that. Another option is making something by myself and succeeding but it is not likely to happen :P

Whatever, I have the raptor mold at home now, so I will be able to make my own squad of bodiless raptors. Unfortunately the bat prosthetic plaster cast was split in half. That wouldn't a problem, it was already broken when I made the mask (I just had to fix it with clay), but someone thought one of the halves was trash, so I could only recover a part of it...

I'm suddenly shy about my paintings (also about writing, that is the reason I don't write too many journals or I end up deleting them, but painting is a new thing) and I started keeping some pictures to myself because of quality or theme.

I'm beginning to wonder if that is logical (and if it ever was), since now there are folders and I can have all the transformations in the same folders, and whatever else in another one (maybe I should start using the Scraps section too, I guess that is what it was meant for...) I just feel like I don't want to fill your inbox with submissions you may not be interested in.

I didn't have this problem before because every painting seemed either the same or better quality than the former ones (plus I would rarely get more than 3 favs per painting), but now I have some ups and downs and I don't know what to do about it. There are some paintings that look good in very little time, but then I may spent a lot of time in another one but never get it look as good as I want, and I just want to finish those and move to something else. And if I upload those I feel like I should put in the description "hey, I drew this, but I know it doesn't look that good, I swear.". And some of that paintings may get favs anyway, while some I thought were good don't. It is so confusing.

Can someone relate?
