Celebration day
Posted 5 years agoOne of my images just for 69 views. I made the image of Dian as celebration of reaching such a glorious number of views on one image. Yes I know I’m immature lol. Glad I posted the image in time before the counter reached 70
How do people do lines so perfectly?
Posted 6 years agoI really need to practice my linework. I feel it is the one of the many things I need to improve on. Often times my characters will have too flat of a head or will have different body proportions to how I drew them last. The most recent image I drew, Moougr, was a test of sorts as well as a OC creation; I wanted to see how I did drawing a front facing expressive wolf. My next image I should probably focus on my linework. Maybe I should start using grids and outlines and stuff, as with all my drawings I just end up going straight into the drawing part. Or maybe I need to turn off pressure sensitivity on my graphics tablet to get consistent results for the size of the lines.
I’m hoping someone skilled at art will see this one day. Please inform me what you think I should start practicing if you are willing to part with such knowledge. The only grid based thing I actually use is when I’m measuring the distance of the eyes and there size as well as the position of the feet.

Plans and ideas
Posted 6 years agoHello there everyone, just testing out this journal feature to see if it works the way I expect.
I have been uploading some of my most recent pictures as well as a few I made specially for Fur Affinity like the cowboy one I made yesterday to see what skills in drawing I have and what I need to improve. I think I have a lot of improving to do. Most of my art seems to stick to the same formula of the same type of shading, the same wolf facing the same way and all my animals have long snouts. So I think I need to practice forward facing animals for a while. My submissions therefore might just be forward facing animals.
I may also try shading similar to what I did with the paw image. I hate how the shading looks on it, too dark at the sides, and when I look at other paws I see where I went wrong. I guess also expect more paws to be visible on my images as paws seem to be really good for testing out shading; just the right amount of fluff, angles and bumpiness to test out how light reflects and stuff.
I do hope you all will critique my work. None of my images are perfect and if I wanna improve I need to notice the flaws in my work and improve on the issues. For instance the paw image I sent looks way better then paws I was drawing a year ago but I still think I need to work harder to get it looking brilliant. I hope one day I will be good enough to be like the professionals even though I never took any art lessons besides a one year mandatory one I took this year.
Anyway, enough of my rambling... that’s all this was, me rambling about what I am thinking lol. All in all expect more forward facing animals and paws.
