HELP: Adoptables species with storylines???
Posted 11 years agoSo like, I've noticed that some people do adoptables species with certain, like, characteristics? I was looking at 
rainbow's dreamies and prowls and stuff, and noticed that they are all distinct species, with certain abilities and temperaments.
It got me thinking about my own closed species adoptables like dryads and cervettes and how I definitely do think of them as having their own species-related characteristics.
So I guess I'm curious: do you guys prefer species that have set abilities and characteristics and cultures and stuff, or do you prefer being able to make up all of that yourself?

Posted 11 years agoWoop, I just had my birthday over the weekend! I've been doing nothing but playing pokemon and eating junkfood ;w; I love the new game! It's so much fun and I love Pokemon Amie, ahaha. I have the happiest geodude and frogadier ;w;
But yeah, that's an update! I'm still trying to add art to my other account, and then I'll officially announce it in an image in case nobody reads journals. I have new stuff I want to put up there but I have to get the old stuff uploaded first, ahhhh.
PS: I'm gonna try to get designs sent later, since I've been SO DUMB about that! Sorry for the delay, guys @w@

1. Do 24hr holds.
and
2. Am honestly considering a blacklist for certain people.
There were so many designs where I was like ??? did I sell this??? only to realize that, no, somebody (usually a repeat offender) just never paid and I was ~nice and was like ~pay whenever you can~.
And that is the story of why I only do 24hr holds now.
In other news, I'm still trying to figure out a possible new account. I dunno! If I could, I'd just reset this one to the beginning and start over, but I still hate the name =m=
oh well. I'll figure it out eventually.
PS: I now have a link to a journal that lists all of my unsold designs. Go check it out if you're in the mood to buy some designs~*~

Monoprice vs intuos 3?
Posted 12 years agoDoes anybody have one that they can compare to an intuos?
The wire on my intuos 3 has been pretty shot for about two years now, and wow a monoprice of the same size is hecka cheap.
I've heard they perform just as well as the 3 from a few sources, but I figured I'd ask you guys, since a lot of your are artists.

Posted 12 years agoI want to doodle some random busts and mess around with how I color pencil sketches, so I'm going to take the first 9 requests I get.
Three will be just sketches, three will be flat color and three will be shaded. I'll choose which ones I want to color after I draw them depending on which ones I like the best.
If you want one, post some refs! I won't do characters with a million head accessories, though, so keep that in mind.

Posted 12 years agoHalf the time I don't draw b/c I don't know who the heck to draw. I want to get more art of my characters up, but I'm always like, DRAW??? RABBIT???? and then I just draw Rabbit again. Or play minecraft. Usually minecraft.

Between my health taking a dive (again) and starting a mentally exhausting new project at work (also again) and giving my diet an overhaul (ditto) I barely have the mental capacity to do anything when I get home that isn't staring at the TV and watching Lets Plays.
But hey! I still have quite a few designs free and I am using this journal as a double-reach-around advertisement/update.
(I honestly don't know when I will be able to get to any potential customs, though. I will probably get bronchitis and have to start a comprehensive email marketing campaign for my job next week for all I know. When did I go into visual marketing? I did not ask for this life, sob. My brain doesn't want to make art anymore ;w; )

Posted 12 years agoyeah so I've been sick again, in case anybody is wondering where the heck I've been.
i am feeling better but drawing is basically the last thing I want to do which is balls because I told someone I'd give them a WIP for a commission. I will hopefully have something by the end of the day so I can just get it done before monday.
