Hey yall!

I've been staying at a friends place for the past few weeks, waiting for my flat to be sorted.. my contract says I was gonna be moving in on the 13th of September.. obviously that hasn't happened yet, I'm still waiting to hear.

I won't go into detail about it, but It's not my agent's fault. We are waiting for confirmation that all papers are correct, even tho we've already gotten confirmation once.. (i don't fully understand it) but it is out of our control and I'm just waiting at this point.

It is friday, I doubt anything is gonna happen over the weekend, so on monday it will be three weeks since I was supposed to move in.. I appreciate my friend letting me stay but it's been way too long and I hope they let me repay them.

Due to this unfortunate situation, I've been very stressed and depressed, and I've missed out on two weeks of university classes, and even tho I've had the time to work on the few coms I have left, I have felt awful. I apologize for the wait.

I will look to hopefully move next week but I do not know at this point which is super frustrating and idk what to do other that wait, I've done everything I can. Once I do, I'll catch up on university work and then commissions sprinkled in, in case anyone is worried about the waiting time.




We'll see how it goes.

We made it! I reached my money goal and WAYYYY beyond that.

I want to thank for being the generous soul that they are, holding a pay what you want sketch stream to help raise money for me, and we got so much that I'm no longer in need of money for my rent!

I want to thank everyone who joined, and commissioned us. I wouldn't have made it without you!

I'm closing commissions for now. I will move next week, hopefully settle into my new flat and start my third and last year of university. I will work on my commission queue wherever I can. I apologize in advance if some of you might need to wait a while, but I can promise you I will get them all done, I owe you that and I intend to stick with it!

Gonna go straight to the point. I'm in a bit of a pickle.

The process of getting to sign for a flat, as well as my student loans that are supposed to cover rent, hasn't come in yet and I don't think they will in time for Monday when I travel to the UK for University.

I do not have the finances to cover all the rent until my loans come in so I'm taking emergency commissions and donations in Hope's that I can sign the lease early next week, and be able to have a roof over my head.

That said, if I have a few watchers from the UK, that can spare a couch for someone in need for a few days, please reach out? I just need a roof over my head, (I'll take a nap on the floor if I have to, I just don't wanna end up on the street) and i will gladly pay for it when my student loans come in. I can promise that.

£100 for my last bit of my first months rent
£50 for my train ticket from london to the city I'm moving to
£20-40 or more for food.
A place to stay for a few days until I'm able to sign for my flat and move there.

I'm currently setting up my commission page on here and I'm missing sfw examples.

If anyone want to help me out, I would love it if a few of you wanted to commission these things, so I can use them as examples:

-fully shaded headshot ($17) ((CLOSED))
-fully shaded fullbody ($35) ((CLOSED))

The fullbodies can be combined into one fully shaded feral character with background if wanted! ($40)

Heyo!

Just a thought dump right now, it's not important, really.

Since I'm an illustration student currently, I wanna branch out a little from the fandom to be able to feel more comfortable getting non-furry related jobs in the future?

Trust me, I ain't gonna stop drawing sexy anthro animals fucking anytime soon, but I wanna have a more professional sfw side, where I focus on illustration, concept art and comics, that aren't furry related. I'm sure people can make a living drawing furries, cause I've seen it myself, but I'm not that skilled, and will need more than just this fandom to make money. I'm just thinking of my future, you know?

So going forward, I might only take a few commissions, and the YCHs i post will be based around bigger concept pieces? Might try my hand at some more creature creation, and bigger illustrations as well as backgrounds to make fuller pieces. Rest assured, I'll still draw the occasional dragon dick, I just wanna expand my knowledge amd get out of my comfort zone so I can get a bigger chance at getting some small freelance jobs soon :D


Thanks for reading this little update! I'd love to hear your opinions, maybe share some stories of how you got started if you're going through the same change of wanting to branch out, as I'm quite nervous and don't really know where to start, other than practicing by drawing different things and building a portfolio of work similar to the stuff I wanna get hired to do in the future, you know?
