i have an art-only twitter now! now that SLARPG is done and 99% of my creative energy isn't going towards spoiler assets for one video game, i'd like to draw stuff i can actually post more regularly. i think having a twitter dedicated to my art where it isn't buried under a mountain of screenshots and photos of little plastic dudes i bought is a good incentive to follow through on that

it makes me feel kinda bad when i look at my FA profile and see that i've posted exactly one (1) drawing in the last few months, but i've been quite productive, actually!

as any of you who follow me on twitter or tumblr are no doubt aware, i've been hard at work getting a demo done for my game, Super Lesbian Animal RPG. it's coming along quite nicely, i think. several friends have tested it and everything seems to be mostly running smoothly, a few bits of missing content aside. my current plan is to release a beta version of the demo whenever it's finished for my Patreon supporters, and for everyone else the demo should be available on Valentine's Day (February 14th), released for free (or pay-what-you-want) on itch.io. i think that's the most fitting day i could possibly release a gay animal game demo. it's also my lead composer's birthday! so celebrate her birthday by telling her how much her music kicks ass and also maybe by buying a thousand copies of the demo ost on her bandcamp

after that, i'll hopefully be able to post some stuff to FA again. at the very least, in the weeks after the demo's released i'll have a lot of art to post from the demo itself

welp, like i said i was thinking of doing, i made an alt for posting NSFW art occasionally. mostly of my fursona and/or anthony's fursona. sometimes the dysphoria hits and you just gotta draw your fursona nude to feel cute, y'know

this account will be staying totally clean, so if you don't wanna see my fursona sans clothes you don't gotta. but it's there if you're into that kinda stuff! i am aware that i've built a following based on clean art and very PG projects like SLARPG, and that isn't changing anytime soon. i was just already drawing this stuff for myself anyway. so i figured, if i'm gonna put effort into adult art from time to time, why not let people see it and get that good good validation from people liking my art

you know the doomsday clock? in my head there's a version of that, except instead of estimating how close we are to armageddon or whatever, it's estimating how close i am to caving in and finally making a separate FA account (and tumblr blog) for posting NSFW art from time to time, due to some combination of dysphoria-based body issues and a desperate need for validation

i already draw this stuff occasionally (it's FAR from my main focus since i've got a game to make and whatnot, but every now and then i'll feel like drawing my fursona with her tity out or whatever), so i kinda feel like. if i'm going to do that anyway, i might as well post it somewhere where people can see it and tell me i did a good job, haha. instead of just showing it to my boyfriend and then keeping it to myself for the rest of eternity

it's just kinda scary i guess because i'd be a little worried about the type of audience that would attract. i've always worried that posting smut of my fursona would turn her into a sexual object first and foremost in some peoples' eyes, and when she's the face of my online presence and most of the stuff i make is PG in nature, that could potentially be a problem. ESPECIALLY as a trans girl

maybe i'm just overthinking all this considering i'm on a website where EVERYBODY draws porn, haha. i dunno, just thinking out loud i guess. i'll let y'all know if i do anything though
