Hey, everyone! So, I’m trying to make more friends with other like-minded artists. It’s been kinda hard finding other fellows artists who want to spend time with me, so that’s why I’m writing this journal.

Also, I need to clarify this: I’m looking for more fellow artists specifically, not people who just want to talk. I think most of my followers/watchers are non-artists. That's totally fine, but I want to develop friendships with people who have a mutual interest in drawing. That way, we can bounce ideas off each other and really connect over a shared passion for art.

Hi guys. So, I need some help with a couple of problems.


First, I wanna create a bigger name for myself on Fur. I want to reach out to more people, become friends with them, and gain a bigger audience. Ultimately, I want to grow my account, become an "icon" in the Fur Affintity community, and really make an impact with people. Unfortunately, I'm not sure on how I can reach out to broader groups of people. I have a couple of different accounts on other sites, and I use Discord frequently, but that's about it. How do you get more views? How do you let people know that your art exists? How do you draw attention to it? How do you connect with other artists? I guess I can learn how to advertise it in some way. But I have no idea on how to do that.


Furthermore, I am not sure on what I should draw. I know that my current audience likes Saki the most. I can tell based because my Saki art are my only drawings that ever get any comments. But I don't want to just draw her all the time. I wanna draw a variety of characters, so even if my audience is mostly drawn to Saki, I can't draw her all the time. It would be too monotonous and banal. So, I need different character suggestions. Video game characters like Krystal or Renamon, tv characters like Michiru from BNA, anything will do. Just as long as it's not Saki or Chloe again.


And speaking of Saki and Chloe, people only seem to be drawn to my Saki art. I do hope that in the future, more people will like my non-Saki art as well. Again, I've drawn art of multiple other characters. I don't want Saki to hog all the attention. I know she's my main oc, but I want all of my art to be noticed and appreciated. But unfortunately, people only seem to commentate on Saki art. So hopefully, I can find a way to do change that.

Just to let you guys know, if you’re still waiting for me to get your art trade or request, then I’m truly sorry. As I mentioned on one of my earlier drawings, I am extremely busy with various things, and I simply just don’t have much time to get anything done. Also, I'm really sorry about this, and I hope that this doesn't come off as rude, but...I would really rather not be asked when I'll get something done, at least not for now. I've been getting that question a lot lately, and tbh, it's getting a bit old. Of course, I completely understand that you’re just checking up, and are not rushing me in any way. That’s completely fine. I just have a lot on my plate at the moment, and I just don’t want to be bombarded by the same questions repeatedly.


I haven’t forgotten about your trades at all. I still want to get them all done, and I will try my very best to finish them all. So please don’t worry.
