So, rent is due tomorrow and we were tallying money to get the money order thing together and one of the roommates is $50 short, give or take, and of course, no one else really has any side job things. So, yeah. Would anyone want a quick picture that I'm gonna drop everything and get done right this second?

What this would get you would probably be a nicely cleaned up colored sketch with shading, or a 'single' character (floating dicks/hips ahoy) full colored piece, or if there's multiple people interested, I can do single colored sketches, or a few shaded sketches (no coloring, just cleaned up sketches with nice shading). I'd sorta like to go for one image cause after the Lucky 7 thing I was gonna rest my hand... but... yeah.

Stop doing 5+ character pieces. you know they kill your hands.

SO, as some people know *if my flailing about finals a month ago wasn't an obvious thing* I'm going to school for culinary shenanigans :D But I got to hang around with someone during one of the kitchen walk-throughs (gonna be starting the actual cooking classes in the fall... no good times for me during the summer with work unless I wanted to work every Saturday to make up for it, bleh) and my tiny apartment kitchen has... more or less bare essentials for a 'passable-living-on-your-own' kitchen. I mean hell, I've got cupcake pans that are older than me that I got from my gram when I decided on being a cook *gonna keep them forever, though~*

So got through exams managed all As and Bs so far! Thats the good news. Bad news is shortly after I managed to get my laptop totaled but thankfully I had backups of most of my files on flash drives. fucking school is nuts, and I'm so sorry I haven't had any time whatsoever to really work on anything art wise. I'm ass deep in studying for finals after work, and up to my eyeballs in scrabling 4 projects together by this coming week.

GOOD NEWS is I'm NOT taking summer classes. Fuck that, summer is for vacation to detox from spring classes.

I severely underestimated how much crap there was to this stuff, so I will PROBABLY be scarce until I can get these school projects finished.



If you HAVEN'T Paid for a commission (non YCH) it is offically an on-hold project until I finish more in-the-works commissions, and I'm sorry about that. If you HAVE paid for a commission (non YCH) and are tired of waiting for it, I understand if you'd like a refund, and I will take care of that as soon as I am able to. If you've won a YCH from me, I'm still working on those, slowly. Hey all. Sorry I've been scarce. Right wfter I got back in class I got slammed with3 projects and needed to start studying for finals followed closely with a prety bad scare from my gram. Last thursday mom headed over to grams to make plans for easter on who was bringing what for dinner and found her passed out on the couch. When we got her to the hospital we found out she had pneumonia and aparently had been sick for a few days already and it didn't look good. I've been camping at the hopital with mom for the better part of the week after work. We finally got some good news on it though that she's starting to turn for the better so we both got sent home to get some actual sleep. Well be heading back over tomorrow again though but I will be trying to start catchup on art around sunday.

SO, started off the week before con feeling kind of awful, hoping it'd clear up (passed my test btw :D) We did the looooongass drive up to con, and by then my everything was pretty messed up. I'm almost sure it was some kind of food poisoning considering the symptoms, but I can't totally be positive. I spent the better part of the weekend sleeping at our friends house and didn't even get to get into the con space outside of picking Narco up sunday afternoon so we could drive home early because she had to be home to do a thing early monday that neither of us had planned on.

Anywho, I got her home then when home myself, and realized that my one sickness sort of merged with con-crud. Or hella bad allergies. I've been sleeping like shit with a constantly sore/tingly throat, coughing up a lung or two every hour or so, tiiiiny fever, but not enough to keep me home from work or class. Finally feeling good enough now that I'm out of work for the weekend *they sent me home cause I fell asleep at my desk... oops... and cause I looked like shit* so I could sleep the rest of the weekend away and catch up on some much needed Z's~


That stuff said, I've got some original sketches I did for my little derp portfolio for the weekend that I might auction off the originals, and/or make YCHs out of them? Not sure which way to go on that. I'll be posting those up shortly after I take a quick nap, because BALLS am I tired.

we figured out that the wall-to-brick connector for our printer that we never use fits the brick for my laptop, so I can definitely art between now and when my actual replacement cord gets here.


As for fwa, SINCE I'll be going out of town this weekend, the professor is going to let me take the test thing on thursday and just... slip the finished one into the big pile on saturday so I can still take it and go to con! :D

like... apart.. in two pieces.. of one cord.... I'm a little fucked till the replacement gets here on..... the 18th? I think. maybe slightly before. I may be able to borrrow a friends computer here and there, but I'm sorta stuck on an unofficial hiatus from art for a bit. I'll have my phone to answer notes in short sentences and manage the last bits of auction things, but this comp has like, a 2 hour battery tops, and unless I get a borrowed comp between now and the arrival of the new one... um... yeah. SO art will continue as per normal when the replacement cord arrives....

gonna get those up soon so I can get money for the power cord + shipping, because I realize all the money I have at the moment is going to specific things... oops.

SO last night one of my animals decided it would be cute to chew on the power cord for my laptop. Thank goodness it wasn't plugged in.


HOWEVER, it's barely getting power to the brick at all and I have to finagle the wires to an almost impossible to keep connected position, so I'm ordering a replacement power cord asap, but I might be without a laptop in the mean time if I can't get this one to last a few more days. It sorta connects, but if I budge it any at all, it blips out of existence.

Or at least using more than what I typically do now. I've had some off site/private commission things where they wanted more realistic/animal/human/anime/whatever styles for the eyes, and I'm wondering if that wouldn't be better to throw more variety into things. I'd still use my current one for like, a lot of things, but I'd need to start asking for preferences on why style of which who wants.

haven't arted in a couple days, so I'ma do a little warm up first then jump back into stuff from the stream on ...thursday? Wednesday? When was that again? Or work on some YCH stuff. or something. IDK.*not actually sure how productive this is gonna be today~*

Ended up doing a mini study group with people last night after work because mid terms are next week *SHOOT ME* and ended up passing out after I got home ...
