Hope everyone has been safe and well the past (almost) 2 years.
Now, hold onto your hats, this will be a bit of a scrolling exercise, but I’ll try to keep things under the same 3 sections I mentioned in the title.
A lot has changed for me since the last chance I had to update here. As one or two folks might’ve noticed, I’ve updated my profile info! While nothing much has changed for me personally, I’ve made a few things more clear and also am in the midst of doing a bit of sorting out art and general life stuff (like the fact I’m now engaged!) That stuff isn’t as big, but it’s worth mentioning
As for art, I’ve got a bit of a backlog to post over the next few weeks, plus I’m now working as a full time freelance artist, so if anyone is interested in my work, feel free to DM me here or on Twitter! Will be mostly SFW, NSFW can be discussed at my discretion. Solo only. 10$ for sketches, 13$ color sketches, 15$ for lineart & 20$ for full color.
A basic refsheet (Full body, colored, and headshot) would be 30$.

Posted 8 years agoHOOO BOY! It's been waaaay to long. Semester is almost over and the summer is pressing me to actually pick my feathery arse up and Get. To. Work. Having said that, I'll be updating my Gallery and posting a good 4-5 rough sketches for a few weeks just to give an idea of what I've been up to. I'm hoping to make use of all of them and slowly move them to scraps once I start posting the completed projects. SO apologies in advance for the spam, but I'm looking to open up 3-5 slots for commissions come June and begin working harder on my craft. Wish me luck and here's to burying this page in lotsa new art for everyone to enjoy!

Second, I need to post more, like, REEALLY need to post more. The ass-end of 2013 was far from pleasant for me in a lot of ways. However, I did take a lot of time to work on the art I have been neglecting for quite a bit now so hopefully I can pick up the slack and get back into the swing of things. I'll be attending a small convention in a month or so as an artist for the first time! This is a big deal for me considering I only really picked up a pen with the serious intention of drawing anything beyond a doodle about 2 years ago with no particular background in art.
Last but not least, the spring semester is approaching and I am working to balance it out with my free time, and with a job so I'm not sure how much art I can get done, but I still plan on doing more that this past year. Wish me luck everyone!

Posted 12 years agoAc was my first fur con, and to be honest, I personally was amazed. with such a large con, there are always going to be a few mishaps and miscommunications, but all and all, it went well in my opinion. I got a chance to meet and chat with quite a few of the larger names in the fandom about art advice and/or just sharing a joke or two. It's really neat to see just how verbal this fandom can be when we're around each other without having to worry about being belittled or judged. The entire thing had a relaxed air to it in terms of the community simply being together. I made quite a few new friends and I look forward to being able to keep in touch with them as much as I can, as well as putting the advice on art to good use; and I'm definitely going again next year (wallet permitting)
Other than that, I plan on having some art up by next week (yea, like that hasn't been said a lot before) and being a lot more active around here

Posted 12 years agoWith the hurricane and lack of power, I haven't really had time to pick a pen and do anything. In turn, Imma start posting up a few more things and actually bothering to put stuff in my scraps. I'll probably put WIPs in my gallery until the actual thing is complete, then it'll be moved to scraps. I could use the critiquing anyhow. So wish my luck now that things are brightening up (got power back 2 days ago and are 100% back up as of today) and I don't need to update from my cell

Posted 12 years agoTotally got off track these past 2 weeks and its driving me nuts! Anyone got any suggestions of simple things to draw between my commissions? I feel like I've lost my touch a bit from just lazing around and doing nothing and I wanna get back into the swing of things before my life kicks back into high gear this fall so any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated >v<

Nice way to wake up this morning, at like 7am, father comes in and says my mother is in the ER cus she was having alot of abdominal pain. Thankfully, it's nothing life threatening, but she'll be in the hospital till around Friday. Which means I'll be left to handle most everything around the house, not gonna let it interfere with my art, but it might make things a bit slow for a bit >->

Back in the air
Posted 13 years agoFinally got a chance to work on some newer pieces I wanted to finish so hopefully I'll have those up by mid-today, feels good to have a bit of a break to scribble again ^v^ Hopefully life doesn't notice I'm relaxing and throw me into the giant pile of problems XD
