I got a call from St. Mark's Hospital saying that they looked at my application to become a Telemetry Technician, and would like to talk to me about it. This could let me finally get into the healthcare industry. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!

I really want to go back and work at Lagoon for another season. The pay is not that good (a quarter above minimum wage), but I can say that being a Ride Operator was the only job I had that I loved and was happy at. It really allowed me to interact with people, and I loved seeing guests smile and scream, knowing that I helped make their day.

My dad does not want me to wait that long to go back a low paying job, so I am really conflicted in what I should do. What should I do?

I just got the official score report from the GED Testing Service. I opened a major can of whoop ass on my essay, and passed the GED! You guys seriously have no idea how happy I am right now. :D

I sent in the application to become a Gate Agent at Denver International Airport. In two and a half hours, I got an email with an invite to attend a group interview on Monday. I am quite honestly in shock with how quickly they responded and don't really know what to say....

I have applied for a job as a Ride Operator at Elitch Gardens. If I end up getting hired, I am going to give my two weeks notice to both Lagoon and Cowabunga Bay and move to Westminster Colorado. I really hope this is a step in the right direction and that things go well for me. Please wish me luck.

A seasonal job may not be a "real" job, but that does not mean people work up to exhaustion to make sure people are happy every single day. Couple that with having two jobs and its amazing how I still come out with a smile at the end of every work day. :P

After mashing F5 for an hour, I was able to snag a double bed room at the Marriott. Probably got the last one since a minute or two later, there were tweets about the hotel being sold out of doubles.

Hey guys! I have been looking into places that I wanted to move to and so far the Denver metropolitan area is the most likely candidate. Can any Colorado furs tell me what living in the area is like? Right now, I am in my senior year of high school with two seasonal jobs, so I don't have a huge income. I am trying to stay in Utah till November because one of my jobs pays a nice bonus if I stay till the end of the season. I do like to take walks in the outdoors, but am not really looking into good hiking areas (more like nice parks with good walking paths). I am looking for an area that has a decent amount of furs so socialize with. I learn new things pretty quickly, so you could say I am a jack of all trades. If you need/want more info, feel free to ask!
