(Tentative) Sketch Commissions?

I know I still have one old commission to work on, but has been taking a little longer as it's a larger commission and right now the commissioner and I have to discuss some stuff before I continue work on it, and in the mean time, I'd like to get back in the swing of commissions again. So I'm thinking of taking a few sketch commissions to help ease into that. They'd be $10 a character, fullbody. Would anyone be interested?

Fursona Meme

's page and saw she'd done this meme, so I decided to steal it for myself.
What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
Well, first, I love pandas. They're cute, fluffy, and possess many anthropomorphic qualities that I find amusing. Plus, if I were to be any sort of animal, I think I'd be a bear. And thus, because I love panda bears, and the species seemed to reflect some of my own physical and personality traits, I chose that as the species for my fursona.
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
Just like me. I dislike drawing myself as a person, if only because I'm better at drawing animals, and I just really like drawing pandas, so it's a win-win situation. I'm personally fond of just having a character that represents me and only me, not only because it actually helps with my self-esteem to have a character I really like that just represents how I am, but also because I'd like to think of myself as being an honest person and having my main fursona be something I WANT to be as opposed to something I AM just seems like I'm lying to myself. Also, I'd like people on here to actually like me for who I am, as opposed to what my fursona could potentially be, which I know becomes a potential issue for those who create fursonas as idealized versions of themselves.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
Yep! Definitely. Panda Mari is a smartass and a sarcastic asshole, just like me.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Mhmm, naturally, as she DOES represent me in pretty much all respects.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
She does. She has green eyes, and a round face. As an anthro, she has the same color hair, same hairstyle, and same body build and shape. Though, sometimes I don't include the ear piercings.
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
I do identify as female, so yeah.
Do you have more then one main fursona?
Well, Panda Mari is generally my main fursona that I prefer over all others, but Pancham Maria and Furret Maria would most likely count as second mains. Pancham Maria exists in the universe with all of the Poke-versions of her fictional set of friends, and Furret Maria exists in the universe with my current group of FA friends.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
Her backstory is really no different from mine, honestly.
Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Well, she IS technically, though the character she would be mated to (a "just as I am" representation of Leon) does not actually exist. But, as she still represents me, she can't be counted as single, cause I'm not single.
If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?

Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Well, not really, cause I'm not super special. But maybe just the fact that I chose for her to have my actual body shape, which is not flattering, and contrasts to a lot of hourglass figures you see here on FA. (I mean, there's nothing wrong with characters having hourglass figures, I just chose something different.)
Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
You know, I really need to draw her more often, as I just love her as a character so much and find her extremely refreshing to draw. But, then I get inspired to do other stuff, or am obligated to draw other stuff, and thus never get around to it. One of my resolutions has been to draw her more, even if it is just doodles and such at school.
Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
NEVER. I am so extremely happy and content with how she is now, and I honestly can say I would never get rid of her, or even make huge changes to her design. That may change in the future, but for now, I'm happy as it stands.
If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
Nah, I don't suit, brah. Plus, I'd never suit as Panda Mari. I'd most likely suit as Sundar or Thunder or something, cause man, Sundar might actually be fun to suit as.

Well, see, Panda Mari is just… me, so it wouldn't work to roleplay as her, because it would just basically be like talking to me as a person, so yeah. Posted 12 years agoTitle says all! I'm revamping my website atm, so I'm just going to post prices and policy and whatnot in this journal, also, the commissions feature on here is sort of wonky, so not using it.
POLICY
Wait Time
Commissions are on the priority section of my to-do list, and I do all in my power to get them done in a timely manner. I will most likely do the commissions in the same order they are in on the slot list, unless there is a lot of variety between complexity in the queue, then I will most likely do the simpler ones first, therefore having more time to spend on the larger commissions. That being said, please remember that I am human and am subject to things such as art block and stress, so I might be doing some personal art in between commissions. Please don't think I have forgotten about your commission, I am merely trying to relieve stress or get inspired again so I can provide you with the best quality art. If you need a commission done by a certain time, please let me know in your initial commission request.
Payment
I do require that all money is paid upfront, with paypal, for pieces under $50. However, if your commission is $50+ and you are NOT able to do this, I ask that you pay at least 50% upfront and the rest after the commission is finished.
Cancellation
On customers end:
If the piece has not been started and you have paid, all of your money will be refunded.
If the piece has been started, I will request a small amount of the money, the rest will be refunded.
If the piece is on the final stages, I will request most of the money, the rest will be refunded.
If the piece is done, no canceling is allowed and no money will be refunded.
On my end:
If I decide to cancel the commission, it will be canceled and all money refunded, no matter what stage I am at.
What I WILL and WON’T Draw
I am fairly open-minded about what I will draw, and am usually more than willing to draw new things. HOWEVER, I will not draw NSFW stuff or extreme gore. Please keep that in mind when commissioning me.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but as an artist I’m fairly good at mimmicking styles. So I’m fairly open, if you would like me to draw your commission in the style of a cartoon, anime, animated TV show, comic strip, what have you. That being said, however, I will only mimmick styles of well-known franchises, and rather not the styles of individual artists. For that, I’d rather you go and commission those artists themselves. (I.e., I’ll do Garfield, but not Ifus, Andrew Dobson, or Hoot per se.)

Cancellation
On customers end:
If the piece has not been started and you have paid, all of your money will be refunded.
If the piece has been started, I will request a small amount of the money, the rest will be refunded.
If the piece is on the final stages, I will request most of the money, the rest will be refunded.
If the piece is done, no canceling is allowed and no money will be refunded.
On my end:
If I decide to cancel the commission, it will be canceled and all money refunded, no matter what stage I am at.
What I WILL and WON’T Draw
I am fairly open-minded about what I will draw, and am usually more than willing to draw new things. HOWEVER, I will not draw NSFW stuff or extreme gore. Please keep that in mind when commissioning me.

Drawing Styles
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but as an artist I’m fairly good at mimmicking styles. So I’m fairly open, if you would like me to draw your commission in the style of a cartoon, anime, animated TV show, comic strip, what have you. That being said, however, I will only mimmick styles of well-known franchises, and rather not the styles of individual artists. For that, I’d rather you go and commission those artists themselves. (I.e., I’ll do Garfield, but not Ifus, Andrew Dobson, or Hoot per se.)

Base price covers one fullbody shot. Add $10 for each added fullbody view, $5 for each added headshot view, and $2 for each added detail shot (i.e. a close-up of the tongue or a certain marking or whatnot). Extra WILL be charged for character’s general complexity, so keep that in mind as well.

On FA, or, to be more specific, the
straightfurs page. Not really where you'd usually expect to meet someone, but it happened, much to my surprise, I might had. I had just gotten out of a sort of bad break-up, though I was getting over it rather quickly, so I decided to drop a shout over on the straightfurs page, but as I said before, I wasn't expecting anything. Low and behold, I got a shout dropped on my page by none other than Leon and we started tossing shouts back and forth until he started talking on skype.
3. When did y'all officially start dating?
Well, TECHNICALLY, it was February 13th when he asked me, but I'm just gonna go with February 14th cause that's when we like to say it officially started. However, we actually only "announced" it after we had been dating for a month.
4. Did you meet online?

5. What attracted you the most to him/her?
I suppose it was when I first looked at his page and stuff, and he seemed like a real gentlemen, I liked that. Not to mention he seemed nice, laid-back, reasonable, attractive, and looked like he had relationship experience, which, having gotten out of a relationship that had failed for the lack thereof, was something I was looking for.
6. Is he/she what you expected?
Way more, I'll be honest here. At first, he just seemed like a nice and cool guy, and I suppose I wasn't expecting too much. But he fully blew me away there. He's sweet, loving, kind, affectionate, understanding, caring, and very funny. <3
7. Did you have sex on your first date?
Haha, no, not IRL, and it was even a month after we started dating (on my birthday, namely) that we actually RP'd it.
8. Are you two freaks in bed?
Weeell, there are somethings one should keep between one and one's significant other.
9. Do you live with them?
I don't, sadly. But I certainly hope to someday

He most certainly is! Not that I'm complaining in the least. ~<3

He said I was the perfect combination of tough and sweet, and that I had a pretty smile. >///< <3

Opinions wanted!
Posted 12 years agoSo, as many of you know, I relatively recently created a Furret design for Maria that I was pretty happy with. Until recently, when Leon showed me that there was a panda Pokemon, Pancham. I tried out a design and was happy with the result, but I still love her Furret design too.
My question is, which do you prefer, design wise? I'd like to decide on just one, if possible, because having two would be a bit much to keep up with.

So, I'm actually using my tumblr now. I'm starting to customize my blog to make it look all snazzy, but I'm not amazing at HTML coding (more of a CSS person here). So, I was wondering, would any of you be able to help me with this? I'm more than willing to pay for services, whether it be with money or art, but I'd just like my blog to look sort of cool.
