Hey folks. I'm still here, still want to repay everyone that bought art from me but able barely able to cover my ass from pay cheque to pay cheque. When I was working multiple jobs the only thing i was able to accomplish was keeping the household afloat while my gf found more stable work. Now i'm burnt out and have no idea what to do other than to keep working.

Refunds will come, i just have no working timeline at the moment. This is one of my greatest shames in my life, not having rectified this commission situation. I'm sorry for have let so many of you down.

Hey guys, sorry for the disappearance. Back in august I went in for surgery and ever since then life has been a shit show and a half.

One day my girlfriend and I are at one of her best friends wedding and literally the next day her other best friend commits suicide, Becca (my gf) being the last person she messaged. Despite us being several provinces away we had attempted calling the police but found out several hours later we were too late.

For the sake of her mental health she cut back to one job and I have picked up the slack and am working 60+ hours a week while also in school for game developement. She still has a full time job but our city is barely livable on two incomes. During the summer we both had two jobs to make ends meet.

I was supposed to be financially supported by my family after surgery but that support fell through when my mom got into a car accident a week before. Money was tight for months after that.

We are almost back on our after all that but after many attempts I know i wont have the time or energy to get the work I owe done.

Starting in the new year I will be refunding everyone fully regardless of how much work has been done. It will take a few months but when i have some spare time my queue will turn into a refund tracking chart and I'll be messaging everyone to get their emails again.

I'm sorry for letting you all down and taking this long to get any sort of message out, life has sort of been a hot mess.

I'm only going to be focusing on one or two commissions at a time. Which ones I'm working on will be highlighted.

I'll be home for the next few days after getting hit by a car on my bike last night. Nothing broken just very sore on the left side, he wasn't paying attention will making a right turn.

I'm finding small chunks of time, sometimes no more than 15 or 20 minutes to get art done. Almost done one piece and have several wips but I'm disconnected from the internet at home until July 2.

Also I'm only focusing on one commission at a time. My goal is to have over half of you guys completed by the time I go in for surgery then after a few weeks of recovery I hope to get the rest of you done before I return to work.

My queue is currently update. Will update it again tomorrow before I start work since I should have time between now and then to get some more done.

So there's been some stuff that's cropped up in my life over the last few months that's pulled me away from my art. I'm currently working 80+ hours a week to help support my parents and grandparents. It hasn't left a lot of time for much else. I have closed my Patreon account and have permanently stopped accepting commissions, I have some commissioners that have been waiting over a year that I feel really guilty about. In my free time, I'm going to do my best to get all of those done.

And I'm hoping that will be before my surgery this Aug 21st, since that will put me out for a couple of weeks. I want to thank everyone that has been so patient with me, you guys are the best.

If I can get up early tomorrow, I will continue working on one of my WIPs.

More like several cities in the area. There two different internet providers and the one I use has been getting fucked sideways since after noon yesterday and still hasnt come back. I'm at my forth store right now on a hunt for functional wifi (the others use the same provider as me).

So I currently cant send out Wips and Same Day sketches are delayed until the Net is back.


All the more reason to invest in a laptop and small drawing tablet in the future because my girlfriend still has internet at her place.

Oh well.

I've been avoiding posting this journal like I avoid most things in my life. Meant to do this weeks ago.

Over the course of my 20's (28 right now) I've let a few bad habits warp into crippling addictions. And its gotten to the point where I can no longer hide it and its effecting all of my relationships with friends, loved ones, myself and my art/work. I habour a large doseage of self-loathing that no one knows about because I dont like talking about my flaws or struggles or failures. I feel like I can let this out here because family and loved ones will never see it.

During my week log hike I decided that I am going to turn my life around, get it going down the path I want instead of the path I just passively accept because in the moment I sit in a pool of apathy.

I've wasted so many hours curled up intoxicated because its something to do, my mind in a sea of fog. I lie to people telling them my life is on track and that I'm fine when I spiralling out of control.

The reason I'm finally trying to get my shit together is because my inaction and intoxication has brought me face to face with the potential of homelessness and with winter around the corner that just not something wish to experience in my life.

October I tried to quit my vices cold turkey, not entirely successful but I have had sober ... half days ... that doesnt seem like much but I used to be out of it from the moment I woke up to the moment I finally crawled into bed so I take my wins where I can get them.

More sober hours though means more time to work on the backload of work I've created. I know a bunch of you have been waiting several months but I am working on them. My part time job will allow me to work on the owed without adding to the list as much.

I don't know how to end this, but just know that I am still working on art even if my mind isnt completely in the right place right now.

Back from my week long hike in the hills, which amazing. We traveled between 120-150 km. the days were warm though the nights were little frigid and on the final night the coyotes would stop howling and yipping near by.

The shitty part, my SSD (solid state drive) which holds my OS and programs finally failed. It's been giving me warns for about a week before the trip. Attempted a few things but I'm just gonna have to save up the money for a new one. until then my computer is bust. Thankfully SSD's have gotten more affordable since I built my computer and until then I'll be working from my girlfriend's laptop.

I don't know if I have to restart a bunch of commissions though. I saved everything on Adobe's Creative Cloud system, so I might be able to recover it. Regardless, Photoshop is now installing and I'll be back to work later this afternoon.

(All Commission work is lost and shall be restarted, I am not amused)

In a few hours I'll be wondering into the wilderness for a week and pretty sure my phone is getting cut off so I won't be able to check FA at all during the time I'm gone.

On the 4th and 6th I'll be sending wips out again as well as continuing on with my studies. Till then you guys have a wonderful week.
