Cosplay Help
Posted 11 years agoOk I really wanna do a yuna (FFX) cosplay. but I don’t really have the money or know how to make one. is there any website that sells good cosplay outfits that someone can recommend to me? I don’t want to stumble onto a milanoo sockpuppet site and get scammed or anything. I would also be interested in commissioning someone to make it for me also.

Posted 11 years agoidk I haven't been active in the fandom. mostly because I'm 2 kool. it's 4 in the morning and I have an open ramen instant lunch thing I've decided I don't really want but idk do I just tape the lid back down?
yesterday was just 2 much ahaha

Athrocon ride cancelled
Posted 13 years agoYeah, my Ride to AC cancelled on me, so I need to find a new one, fast. if any of you guys have space available, hit me up on skype. Skype name is WillowRabbit. I'd really appreciate it, and I can chip in for gas and food.
on the topic of anthrocon 2012.
Posted 13 years ago I was just thinking, would it be funny if I got a few people together and we all altered all our clothing/costumes to fit the theme of ANOTHER convention? everyone would be walking around in midsummer night's dream stuff, and we'd be rocking fallout gear?
Also, still looking for a ride.

"Internet Language"
Posted 13 years agoI'm sick and tired of people typing like retards and using the fact that this is the internet, as an excuse. I can uynderstand using it in Texts, as not all of us have full keyboards, and taking the time to fully type out a complete sentence may ruin the point of texting instead of calling, but online you have a full QWERTY keyboard, and should type properly. This is especially true for those of you who write stories and post them on places like FA and inkbunny. "U" is a letter, not a pronoun. "Your" expresses someone else's ownership of something, and "you're" is short for "you are." "There" is a place, "They're" is short for "They Are." And "Their." is again, expressing ownership of expression.
"Y" does not mean the same thing as "why?"
I don't expect grammatical perfection, I'm obviously nowhere near that, but type in a manner that wouldn't make your sixth grade English teacher throw up a little in her mouth. Just because this is the internet doesn't mean that you can type like a total asshat.

HEY NORTH CAROLINA FURRIES READ THIS. IMPORTANT.
Posted 13 years agoAre any of you guys going to the Rave in Raleigh on the 21st? If so, I'm in Salisbury and need a ride. Please send me a note, or an IM at WillowTheMouse(AIM) or WillowRabbit[at]ymail.com (YIM) my YIM is also my primary email, so feel free to get in touch with me that way as well. I'm also on SL as WillowTheMouse.
The Rave is on the 21st, but since it is such a drive to Raleigh, we'd probably have to get a hotel or something, I have no problem chipping into the cost of the room, or chipping in for gas.
information about the rave's location, prices, DJ's can be found here

If any of you can give me a ride, please let me know. ^.^

My personality
Posted 13 years agoAccessible
You're comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn't like what they see it's not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the "accessible" trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.
You don't see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
Outspoken
You like to talk. Luckily, you always have something to say, you tell a good story, and people generally enjoy listening to you. It's no wonder that you're often the center of attention.
You don't tend to keep your thoughts to yourself, and you don't feel you're imposing on others when you share your thoughts and opinions with them.
Impulsive
You trust your your instincts. What others may see as rash behavior is, for you, simply going with your gut. Individuals with a high score on the "impulsive" trait tend to try new, sometimes outrageous, things.
You are not timid. For you, spending time microscopically examining the pros and cons of every decision means never getting anything accomplished.
Passionate
You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Original
You are constantly coming up with new ideas. For you, the world as it exists is just a jumping-off place; what's going on inside your mind is often more interesting than what's going on outside.
You don't feel that the road to success is to be a realist and stick to the program; you never stop yourself from coming up with new ideas or telling the world what you're thinking about.
Extroverted
You are ready to talk at the drop of a hat. Whether you're in the office or at a party, you're likely to be found gabbing away in the middle of a group of people. If you have a high score on the "extroverted" trait, you are probably among those who enjoy communicating with their friends (on the phone, on line, texting…), hanging out, and finding the best parties.
You are not shy or unwilling to spend a fair amount of time socializing. People you meet generally do not feel they have a hard time getting to know you.
Innovative
You come up with a lot of ideas; if one doesn't work out, there's always another waiting in the wings. You often have interesting solutions to difficult problems. You're practically a one-person brainstorming session.
You are less interested changing the world than in dealing with things as they are. Unlike those who spend all their time trying to solve problems, you prefer to zero in on things that work and stick with them.
Sociable
You are a people person. You're much more likely to be found in the middle of a crowd than home alone. When there's a good time to be had, you're likely to be having it.
You are not necessarily happier when you're by yourself, and would not choose to be home alone rather than, say, in a crowded club with your friends.
Loose
You feel that a clean, orderly desk is the sign of a person who doesn't have enough to do. Schedules and "to do" lists feel stifling; you thrive on a sense that anything goes, and know that the world won't end if you don't clean up after finishing a job.
You don't need to know that everything is in its place; it is not empowering to you to feel that the world around you is neat and organized. Mowing down every item on your "to do" list, every day, does not bring you joy.

Temporary Indy Fur
Posted 13 years agoSo I'm going to an Indy fur for the next week, visiting family, going to a wedding, dancing the cha cha.
Probably won't be able to hang out with anyone, if any of you Indy furs are interested in hanging out. :/
you can always reach me on SL, since I've been able to find a great wireless connection up here. ^.^
Also, I think the time has come for me to get a new icon, anyone interested?

AC
Posted 14 years agook, so Anthrocon right. I had loads of fun, got to meet a lot of really cool furs, and hang out with a lot of old friends. the raves were awesome, and I got some sweet merch from the dealer's den. My badge, (which was drawn by the awesome
omadaun was a smashing success. and you should all commission him or I cry forever. got some fun stories to tell!
During the friday night rave, I was up on stage, dancing my mouse heart out, and I toss my beanie down onto the ground in front of me so I can grab it later. The hat was making me sweat a very large amount. After I get done dancing, I get down to go grab my hat. Lo and behold, it isn't there. So after looking around for it on the ground for a good while, some guy falls on me, off of the stage, doesn't even say he's sorry, total prick. By then, I'm super angry. So I do what any 21st century 17 year old would do: I rage about it on Twitter. then, Bad_Dragon retweeted my rageface tweet, followed by bucktowntiger retweeting @bad_dragon's retweet of my rageface tweet. within the hour, I get a Direct Message from Bucky saying that it's being held at the stage for me.
in conclusions. Twitterverse furries saved my hat.
the end.
