Of all the lifeforms that are kept under our surveillance, the husky known as Chaos might appear to be the least dangerous. Despite his namesake, there's little in the way of disorder in his life. He's certainly not a criminal and he always tries to do the right thing. He's actually quite modest and impressionable, intelligent and kind. He keeps a fairly typical schedule and maintains a loving relationship with a wolf named Jet. It's quite common for agency recruits to question why we even have a file on him, let alone why he's one of our priority targets. Hence the importance of this briefing and why we work to ensure that Chaos isn't discovered or disturbed by outside forces.

Physically speaking the husky looks similar to most of his kind. Being anthropomorphic, he stands with humanlike proportions but is otherwise much more doglike, even having a body covered in a layered pelt of dense fur. The biggest distinguishing marks are lines of icy blue fur separating the light and dark parts of his fur and his eyes, which glint a strange and unnatural green. They always seems just a bit brighter than they should be when they reflect the light.

The true difference emerges only under medical analysis. Though he's biologically viable, Chaos' appearance is little more than a suit for a being that can only be described as an ancient intelligence, the existence of which has overturned much of our understanding of the universe. His organs are flexible and resilient, often appearing in different parts of his body. We're still not sure if the organs are purely cosmetic or if they still serve their usual purpose. His flesh and muscles are composed of flexible, tentacle-like structures that are entwined in a solid mass. It's frankly like no living creature we've seen on earth.

Attempts to coerce or contain this creature in the past have met with disaster, which is why we now observe at a distance and strive to maintain consistency and stability. His threat level seems to be roughly proportionate to whatever force is sent at him, to the point that we're still unsure what he'd be capable of if he was subjected to extreme duress. It's fortunate that he seems to desire little more than calm, quiet and stable life of caring for his wolf. Hence why our agents are subject to immediate termination following unplanned interference or contact.

Entry 2 - "The Deity" χάος

While Chaos himself knows that his body is different from other creatures, he's currently unaware of the deeper significance of his form. Much of your job is to ensure that it stays that way. Within Chaos' physical body is a conceptual force, an abstract intellect that I can only describe as divine. At first we believed that the force was imprisoned within the body of the husky, but careful analysis and early attempts at communication have shown us that this couldn't be further from the truth. It's something more akin to a vessel, a physical form that the deity may have created to fulfill dreams of a mortal life.

The deity claims that it exists outside of a single universe. It doesn't embody chaos in the sense of randomness or disorder, but as entropy, the great nothing before the act of creation. The deity claims to exist to maintain order in the multiverse by cleaning up dying universes much as a scavenger would. Since this divinity exists outside of the realm of our current science, we're left with little more than its word to go on. While it's true that leaving the creature with the ability to roam our planet is a risk, it's much less of a risk than it would be to continue opposing its inscrutable goals. Part of me is even left wondering if our own universe might cease to exist if the deity was somehow destroyed.

Entry 3 - Feeder Tentacles

The deity isn't the only creature sharing space inside Chaos' body. Hidden under the skin and fur of his abdomen are a pair of powerful tentacles. They're composed of the same material that's found in Chaos' body but they exist independently and even seem to have their own sort of intelligence. They don't seem to add any mass when they're dormant but they can still stretch out to truly massive proportions. We've observed them growing as long as fifty meters each, with a circumference of nine meters at the base, far larger than the typical form of the husky that hosts them. The tips of these tentacles can open like a flower bulb, splitting into three slimy fronds that can grasp, manipulate and even consume.

These "feeder" tentacles are an unfortunate result of our earlier containment protocols. Though they might appear to be a part of Chaos' body, they both started as individuals, agents who broke the interference protocol. They were both fused to his body in a process that originally seemed forced but that we now know was voluntary, driven by what we understand to be a sort of "stimulation." Each tentacle has its own nervous system and is able to move independently, though neither of them have been seen disobeying Chaos' commands.

I've often laid awake at night wondering what was going through the heads of of those two as they surrendered themselves to a greater intelligence. They now exist as a part of something greater, their own identities subsumed. Yet we still pay tribute to them in their code names. The left tentacle, "Lammergeier" seems more curious and intelligent, often predicting its owner's needs. The right tentacle "Mako" is more assertive, tending to push and probe even if it isn't invited. The names of these tentacles are derived from the original species of the two agents, though their original names have been redacted following their betrayal of protocol.

Pudge is the tooncario living deep inside Chaos after he was changed into one by the tooncario Taffy. When Pudge takes over Chaos disappears and is replaced by the fun loving stretchy rubbery toon.
