Hey guys. My name is Darkion Nightfall. But, my friends just call me Dusk!
I occasionally write stories.
I don't upload often, but I do like to commission my characters to be drawn. So you can expect the occasional upload here and there!
Anyway I hope you enjoy my profile and gallery. And don't be afraid to say hi! I don't bite!

Reflecting on 2020 and 2021 goals.
Ha! And I thought 2019 was a bad year. That's it, that's the journal.
Fiiiine, let's get this thing over with! First, let's start by reflecting on the year.
It's 2020, I think it's self-explanatory enough. I am fortunate enough that no one in my family got sick, we all took this thing very seriously, followed the rules our governments gave us and what do ya know, it worked! We're all healthy.
I did start College in September, but the whole studying from home thing became too stressful, I had no more 'safe space' and it started getting very claustrophobic in my room. So I had to drop out and went back to work as a mailman. No worries, going back this year and with a plan of action!
I reconnected with some old friends this year. Had a relationship or two, though there were short-lived, still kept two great friends whom I talk to very often! Doesn't always have to end badly. Overall, in retrospect, a good year for me.
Until December hit. One of my best friends irl had a stroke recently. They're stable and in hospital now, but gosh what a shock. Same age as me and they're bedridden until further notice. I won't go into further detail than that.
Now let's look at the goals I had for this year.
-Get my driver's license: Nope.
-Learn to cook: Getting a lot better at it!
-Learn to draw: Small improvements, got a drawing tablet.
-Start college: Yes&No lol
-Make a proper weekly schedule that will improve my productivity: AH... I forgot about this >w>
-Reach 300 followers on twitch (This is almost tripple my current amount): Yeah.. I haven't streamed for like half a year...
-Actually upload my backlog: I did it!.... And have a new, larger, backlog...
-Write and upload a story a month: I think I managed... 1 this year? But hey, I actually got some commissions... which I need to upload... and finish another... *sigh*
-Spend more time with the people I love (this may be at the bottom, but this is the most important to me): This one I nailed. Connected with a lot of people, trying my best to spend as much time as I physically can, though I got burnt out once.
Considering the year we had... not bad right? Now, let's make a list for this year and better yet, how I intend to keep to these things.
Continue spending time with the people I love and cherish. (This time it's at the top!)
Get better at cooking. By helping out in the kitchen more and actually trying to cook from scratch by myself for once. I wanna make big steps!
Get better at drawing, practice something once a week, be it headshots, hands, paws, etc.
Start college (again).
Stream 52 times this year. So once a week, but with a fallback that I can stream twice in one week if I miss the previous.
Upload my backlog and actually upload things the week I receive them. Just need to get this into a habit.
Write and upload a story a month. Length doesn't matter, I need to just write what I feel like writing at the time, need to get into this more!
Make a webcomic. Already getting help from various people on this. Gonna take a while before I actually start uploading though, but hey, something to look forward to?
Get vaccinated. Yeah, I'm aiming to get the Covid vaccine this year.
And this about covers it. I'm in a better mental space than a year ago, feeling a lot better about myself and about my goals. You may have noticed some have been removed from the list, or altered. Sometimes you just shouldn't set the bar too high. Tiny victories and whatnot! It's not about how quick you get there, but that you get there, right?
Anyway, here's to a healthy and Covid-free 2021. Love you all!
