Hi there!
You can call me Silvermoon.
I found the (real) furry fandom 2012, and I'm really glad I did. It's revitalized some of my artistic spirit that has been dormant for a few years - you know, life happens. :P
My life is pretty boring and even numbing at times - thank god for my dog, Mojo!
The fun, creativity and joy I see in the fandom - the art, fursuits and social interaction have been refreshingly fun to watch and get involved in, even if only sometimes.
I studied Art Fundamentals at Sheridan and Graphic Design at Durham (now UOIT).
My natural drawing style is in the nebulous toony area between Disney/Don Bluth/Universal type feral characters - since I developed my drawing skills at a young age and grew up drawing such characters as the Tramp, Dodger, Simba and Balto, etc. Wolves/wolf-like dogs and horses (including pegasus and unicorns) dominate the artwork that comes out of my head as I'm fairly comfortable with the basic anatomies. Felines are tougher for me, but I'm trying a couple. I can push my style towards realistic, but I need the help of references drawings/photos. I can also push myself and do a bit of anthro, but again I need references to help do good work. Drawing people? Well, not so much since college. With practice I could probably do it again, but it's not really my thing. And I don't do X-rated stuff.
COMMISSIONS - My best artwork happens when I'm inspired, so it's not on a set schedule - some designs come together quickly, others can take a while to work out. I also have a full time job. So if you're interested, please consider allowing at least several weeks before a deadline, to get the best work possible.
I am starting to do badges and art on a word-of-mouth basis, as a fellow fur approached me with a request. Hey, no problem!
Every badge is tailored for the commissioner - card badge, bust badge, feral full body badge, etc.
Same with portrait/art pieces. My background is traditional, though I've recently moved to digital painting. Digital art can be emailed, a distinct advantage. I still like the feel and look of pencils, conte, fine markers, etc. just not much room in my condo for traditional media work.
I don't do sexually explicit or fetish art though. Mature/romance is cool with me. ;)
I print my badges on photo stock (usually fitted within 5x7"), laminate and put a clip on them.

Anthrocon 2017
I had a very nice time at AC this year.
Big thanks to my good friends, Ausup, Caz, Nexus and Bootz, who made it possible for me to attend. As well, thanks to Molson and OshBear, who let me ride with them. :)
Big shoutout also goes to KirinHybrid, who finished my body suit just in time, so Silvermoon debuted at AC, for the first time, as a full suit! :)
Got quite a few compliments and made many people smile. That's my favourite part of suiting, getting positive reactions. It's especially wonderful when even some little ones are not afraid of me (a big dark wolf can be scary!)
It warms my heart when wonder replaces fear. Such is one of the messages of my sona.
Good times, good food, good friends. What more can one ask for? :)
I may not make it out there next year, but I will be back in the future.
