A year down?? Damn, time's flown. Been an interesting ride so far, but awesome! Made some great friends, and hoping to make more as time goes on. And I've caught the creating bug again! I'm super jazzed to put the thoughts to story, and ideas to paper. Posting some older works, and a story I just finished for drgnalexia. Many thanks for his trust in me that I didn't screw up too badly with his request=). Some new artwork should be on the way eventually. But for the moment, coming up with some stories has my focus. I just hope I do justice to the artists the characters belong to. Cheers!

I'm former military(USMC). I was quite surprised when I learned there's a few furs who served as well, and serving at the moment. I think that's another reason I've taken so well to the community. The military environment can be rather difficult for some, especially when you have interests not considered the 'norm'. Fursuiting certainly falls into that category. I will say though I have absolutely zero regrets with my service. It was the best thing I've ever done, and I'm very proud and passionate of what I've accomplished. I've had some amazing experiences, and gained a very positive outlook on life along with an open mind. One lesson you take away from your years in uniform? No matter how bad things appear, they can always be worse. There is indeed light at the end of the tunnel, and hardships don't last forever.
However, I always felt hindered creatively while I was in. Again, now that it's in the past and that chapter is closed in my life, the freedom I feel is very liberating. I'm sure I'm not alone with this.
Currently I live in the high desert in California. I'm hoping to meet others who are furries and fursuiters who are close. Even if they're not close, I'm finding many events and gatherings. Even beginning to attend some. And if by chance any were former military, I do hope to meet. It'd be a wonderful connection I've never had before. If any here are former or present service members, give me a shout. It'd be great to chat sometime. Or even meet=). If you see me, feel free to say hi.

Just be nice. Life's too short to be mean, and it becomes old really, really fast
