Well, this is it. 2024 is now coming to a close. I honestly don't know what to expect for 2025. This year felt like a huge rollercoaster with its ups and downs like any other. I can't lie, I did have a few ups, but many downs. But first, let's get the good stuff out of the way.

So, I finally finished all of my classes for the year, and I've gotten all of the remaining credits that are required to get my AS degree and graduate college. It's been like, what, 7 years now since I first started? I should've been out of there sooner. But finally, everything's in order. Work has also been going well for me down at the port, since I'm always getting my weekly paychecks which are usually around $200-$500 for 2-3 days. Everything else is going well for me, too.

And now, we go to the bad stuff.
First, I had learned from a good friend of mine from Telegram about the sudden passing of  Dragoneer. I was shocked to hear the news as well. I know he had health issues, and he was doing fine from what I heard, until he just... kicked the bucket. The healthcare system can easily fuck anyone over when they are in need of serious help. Some of my friends who I was in call with on Discord were also talking about this, even though they don't know him personally. I just don't know what will become of FA after that.

However, That's not the only person we had lost.
I had lost two of my friends as well:  vgm22 and  dineegla.

Von went through a lot. I've always talked to him back on Telegram to see how he's doing, and he always respond the same way as usual, suffering. I really hope that things would go well for him. But, around late October, I messaged him again to see how he's holding up. But instead of getting a message from Von, the one who was in control of his account was his sister. She had told me the unfortunate news that Von passed away from cancer on October 13. I was really heartbroken. The last time I talked to Von was back in September. And finding out that he's now dead really hurts. I felt so regretful that I haven't talked to him more before he ended up dying.

As for Dineegla, the last time I talked to him was back on the first day of December, before finding out that he, too, had passed, two days later. I've watched him before a long time ago before he joined a group on Telegram, and we've only gotten to know each other for a year. He was still heartbroken as he mourned the loss of his late husband,  musclewolf. And now, he's gone... But at least, him and MuscleWolf are now reunited once more.

Rest in peace, Von and Dineegla. You will be missed dearly.

Last but not least, is also unfortunate. A few weeks ago, my laptop had started to act up. I have an HP Victus. All it does is randomly shut itself off. I was confused when that first happened. But then, when I tried to use it again, it does the same thing. The screen turns black without me pressing anything, then it's now on the lock screen, before finally turning itself off. This is the first time that this has ever happened to me. I usually get a blue screen about once or twice, but not this. I don't understand what's causing it to happen. I don't know if it's issues with the RAM, the hardware, overheating, or what. I've only had my laptop for a year, and it suddenly decided to not work properly anymore. I couldn't even use it anymore, so I had to send it to Best Buy to get it fixed. It really sucks, because it's already the end of the year, and I was wanting to post more stuff before any of that happened. Now, I have to wait a few days for it to get repaired.

I didn't want 2024 to end on a sour note, yet stuff like this happen when you least expect it. Hopefully, when I get my laptop in January, I won't be dealing with the same problem as before.
