Basilisks can create the deserts they live in, but the Sonoran desert was here before I arrived. Honest! (I'm in Arizona, if you don't know where the Sonoran desert is.)

From Toronto, Apple of Basilisk has a review about a newly released album, His Crowned Skull Raised to the Sun. It's available on Bandcamp for those into a band that has "built a foundation atop black metal and sludge metal, albeit far removed from the former’s naturalism and the latter’s southern bend.". I think I've referred to this band before, since this is their second album (their first was Crowned Sloth).
While this isn't a new song, someone pointed out to me a track from a group named Orgone, just titled Basilisk. It has one of the...less flattering heraldic versions right by the letter K of the album cover but it's the thought that counts. Thanks,

I've posted miniatures from this set before, but they're nicely arranged and painted by haveanupvotegif just in time for Easter! Don't Steal Cockatrice Eggs Diorama.
They write: The halfling thief, cockatrices, and egg nest are all from the Reaper Miniatures Bones 5 Fan Favorites Expansion. The terrain is from the Dungeons & Lasers Woodhaven set. All painted by me :)
Honestly, if someone asked nicely...and promised to sit on it conscientiously...I'd let them become a foster parent.
