I write epic fantasy... or at least I try, and I suppose I'm a furry by proxy. A lot of my nonhuman species could be considered furries, but that's mostly because I was fed up with elves and dwarfs, so I decided I'd do cat people and lizard people instead. I was going to be original! Then I discovered the Elder Scrolls series and spent a few days mumbling incoherent blasphemies. Now they're a cat-otter hybrid species—I wanted something semi-aquatic—and a 10 foot tall saurian people, and of course, both are paired right alongside us simians. I kind of stumbled upon the furry community while researching my creatures, and following some outside links from the other fandom I mingle with, a big brohoof to all my fellow equine fanatics, especially  baroncoon. Devouring his backlog of extensive world-building is what led me here, so in a way, it's his fault I'm here. Also,  hattonslayden, I like the general message behind his art. I plan to thank them for that. Will this fandom convert me completely? Who knows... there's a lot of weirdos here, so I should fit right in.
