Putting my quote here since the designated field is too small:
“If used in numbers, atomic bombs not only can nullify any nation's military effort, but can demolish its social and economic structure and prevent their re-establishment for long periods of time. With such weapons, especially if employed in conjunction with other weapons of mass destruction as, for example, pathogenic bacteria, it is quite possible to depopulate vast areas of the earth's surface, leaving only vestigal remnants of man's material works. – from “The Evaluation of the Atoomic Bomb as a Military Weapon”, Final Report of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Evaluation Board for Operation Crossroads, June 30, 1947

FA woes
I loathe this website.
My Flickr album for Anthrocon 2015 has been perused by over 4,800 awesome viewers/fans. I absolutely love every single one of you for the exposure, encouragement, and interest in my work. Now comes the arduous task of uploading them... here. FA is to websites as the Amish are to contemporary society, and the site is hugely anti-photographer to boot. Any pic exceeding 10mb has to be resized (meaning a tremendously injurious loss of data/quality) to fit within that file constraint. I started sorting images into ones I could upload natively and ones I would have to resize and - surprise - they all fit into the latter category. There is no batch uploading, and photos which are similar but framed differently risk falling afoul of the absolutely inane upload content policy. I'm not even sure I want to fucking bother. I will have to individually go through and denote categories for upload, tag people, and even then, they won't be notified that they appear in an image. I usually undertake odious tasks drunk, but even after a third of a 1.75l bottle of Grey Goose, I'm struggling to find the will to install the adobe suite and maim quality images to fit into the digital Mogadishu that is Furaffinity.
I think I'll do it next week. Or not at all. Fuck it. Everyone, I highly recommend checking out the Flickr pool for AC: https://www.flickr.com/groups/anthrocon/pool/
If you're interested in my humble corner in particular, here's the link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/65483.....57655447019928
Thanks so much, as always, for the support. This fandom wouldn't exist without all of you.
