I never considered myself an artist until I started making Sock Animals. As it stands I have no talent for the pen and paper type of art. I was convinced to use FA as a way to show others a collection of commissions I have acquired showing my dazzling darling characters, mostly Mischievous Mystee the Squixen (Squirrel - Vixen). I created Mystee in 1997 to represent myself in the furry fandom. I wanted a character that was a personification of my real personality. I have always thought of myself as a squirrel - playful, short attention span, intelligent, mischievous like to gnaw on things... however I had a darker side a side that was sexy, flirtatious, cunning, clever you know like a vixen. So I bound the two together giving dominance to the Squirrel and coined the term Squixen. Ever since I have been slowly trying to get my image of her brought forth on paper. Having no artistic drawing abilities myself this has been slow going however over the years I have fortunately acquired many a great rendition of this species and my character.
