BASIC SECATI INFORMATION

I will write most important things here about Secati - I will be adding lore and other things as fast as possible while working on references and more visual stuff!

Origin: Secati were created by accident, when some distant humanoid species were experimenting with magic and it's influence on them. Their researches led them to point of no return - and caused unpredictible results of creating new sentient being, which they imprisoned and researched. What they didn't know was, that their deed resulted in iterations of same being starting to appear all across the other worlds, these anomalies only growing in numbers as they experimented on their captive, unkowingly creating a whole race out of its confusion and pain. It was angry and painful crying for help. Some sort of unconscious call.

A call that was soon to be answered...

Now, Secati are still appearing on every worlds possible - being the side effect of magic abnormalities of first Secati suffering. When the anomaly is arising - Secati are popping out of them and dropping into existence to physical form - and start to be a sentient beings.
After that, they are unaware of the place where they are and... What is everything. Only thing they remember and know from start is the image in their heads showing S3 Cat1 blinking on some kind of console...

Pronunciation: "Sec-ah-ti"
Secati is already plural:
One Secati, two Secati, eleven Secati and so on.
There is no "Secatis" form!

Gender Status: They can choose it as they want or be agender.

Appearance: They have humanoid type of body - their hands have 5 fingers - one thumb, and feets - 4 fingers and two thumbs which makes them really prehensile. Secati can have any body type - they can be slim, chubby, muscular, more feminine or masculine.
Their height can vary, they can have any human height - but maximum is 3 meters (about 9 feet).
They can't have feminine breast type though as they are not reproducing nor being mammals!
Their body is smooth and squishy - they can have hair on their head and body though - it's not a fur! Fur is considered as uncommon thing. Basic difference between hair on body and fur on body is that the fur is more thick and can cover the skin completly, while hair can't do that on the chest or legs for example.

They have slits over their body - the "must have" are slits connected with their mouth - they always have these connected with mouth, varying with the shapes and size. Slits on mouth are ALWAYS connected to the corners - if there is more than one slit on mouth - it still needs to be connected to the main slit coming out from corners of mouth - if slits are appearing multiple and not connected with the main slits - it's considered as trait. Other than that - slits are appearing all over the body of Secati, making them able to put out their tentacles from inside, which is next thing - Secati body is filled with tentacles but they can't put them all out in one time - because their slits won't be able to do that - the more tentacles they want to put out of small slit - the more this will be uncomfortable for them.
They can try to do that if they would be scared or in danger - but they would need to regenerate after that, as their whole body would hurt because of too many tentacles would be out of their slits.
There are Secati with bigger and smaller slits, so number of tentacles they can put out is based on that.
Moreover, shapes of tentacles can be various - also they can have spikes, appendages or others, these are just considered more uncommon than regular ones.
Some Secati are using tentacles to move or hold items that are not too heavy - others use their tentacles only for fashion/beauty purposes - making them as pretty addon to their whole outfit.
It's not a rule what they are using them for - some will be walking with them slit out - some will be even hiding them - it all depends on each Secati.

They can't have tentacles in their eyes, ears and nose. Also tentacles appearing from tail are not possible without certain trait.
Slits on face cannot be connected with eyes or nose or be placed too close to eyesockets or nose - they are always connected with lips though.
Besides that - tentacles are appearing where the slits are.
Slits on the head are also not possible - in head they have heartbrain that is really important and delicate organ that tentacle could hurt.

Secati always have tail - basic shape of it is little, short tail but there are no restrictions on shape of the tail at all, but any addons, like fur/scales/feathers/spikes/others are considered more rare.
Lenght of the tail is also considered a trait - the longer tail is - the more rare trait it is.

Secati always have nails on hands and feets - they can be sharp or not.

They don't have nipples and belly button as they are not reproducing.

Even though Secati can't reproduce - they can form genitals, or just live without them.
Color of genitals will always mimic colors/patterns/style of the tentacles - for example if tentacle is pink with blue spots and have spikes - same style will apply to genitals.
Base shape of genitals of Secati can be referenced from human genitals, but you have artistic freedom here, unless you would like to create some horribly big peens or multiple ones.

Diet: They are omnivores, they can eat meat aswell as vegetables, fruits and so on. Each of them have own preferences for food and what they like - such as we are.

Magic and mutations: As Secati are anomalies - they can posess magic abillities aswell as their body can mutate in some ways for example creating additional limbs or making existing ones look different. These are really rare case tho and considered as almost non existing.

Reproduction: Secati can't reproduce, they can have sex though, not only with each other, but with other species that match anatomically too.
