So. We didn't end up permanently fizzling out. But we did retreat deeply for a while due to extreme unrelenting trauma both online and RL.

We won't overshare this time, but we will clarify some things that have been spread about us:

~We are NOT faking DID.

~We have memory problems and often cannot remember the things we said and did to people that ended up hurting them. We'd apologize if we could, or thought it would make a difference.

~We are focusing on VRC and other platforms. We will return to Resonite if and when the community welcomes us back.

~We ARE in the process of seeking professional therapy, but Trump's America is making that obscenely difficult on top of the other stresses it's causing us and folks like us.

~We are going to be much more closed off to people from here on and hold things closer to the chest. Aside from a select few, it's been made clear to us that most people aren't trustworthy enough for more than the most basic interactions.

~The one who wrote that last journal was either a Subalter or just us putting on a protective mask. We aren't sure. But they're gone now, so it doesn't matter.

We don't care if anyone believes us or doesn't believe us. We're going to go on, as we always have.

And to those who hurt or betrayed us? You're dead to us.
