The irony in the fact that a group composed primarily of people that are positive and chill with no aggression towards people who aren't straight edge receives a decent amount of cynical and sardonic shouts is honestly really amusing! Seeing shouts to the tune of "maybe if you did drugs you'd all chill out and be nice" amidst a group of people just stoked to find the group that typically are really chill is always pretty great.

We're just here to hang out, I personally welcome thoughtful discussion about drugs. I myself support the legalization of marijuana and think the states that it's been legalized in are rad for choosing to do so, I just don't want to partake in it. There is no sanctimonious or hateful intent behind this group so I find little warrant in acting ignorant towards it.

There is absolutely no need for petty animosity. People drink. People smoke. Some people don't. Who cares? Regardless of your life choices if we all just chilled out and treated each other with respect and humility, actually thought about our words and actions, things would be pretty rad. Not just on FA but in the world in general. The comments I see accusing us of being close minded coming from people who mock and belittle us is a hefty dose of cognitive dissonance. Using drugs, or not using them, does not make you open minded. No one in this group automatically achieves some sense of accepting, worldly nirvana by joining, nor does anyone else who makes different choices than us.

Understanding, compromise, gratitude, tolerance and acceptance, being humble and respectful, these are qualities of openmindedness. There is nothing gained in the time wasted posting a meaningless, negative shout on a furaffinity profile. Who benefits from spreading negativity rather than positivity? Are you really as open minded as you think you are, or think someone else would be making the same choices as you? Think before you speak. Why is it that we don't have meaningful discussions or work on bettering and supporting each other rather than wasting our time throwing snide remarks at strangers on the internet for a fleeting, empty sense of gratification? What do we gain? Nothing. (Also if said shouts are an attempt at trolling, they're REALLY mediocre at best and I would love to offer constructive criticism but frankly I doubt it would help). We should all strive to act with intention, drug free or not.
