It's been a hell of a year

Hey friends!
I figured I'd pop in and give y'all an update. I've been absolutely terrible about staying active on here and setting aside time for art for a bit, but it's honestly been a busy few months.
I got engaged back in June, and my husband and I just got married on October 13th after almost 4 years together. We're both in the air force and currently stationed 7 hours apart in different states, so we're working to get put at the same location. That would be super nice; we've been long distance for a while, so being able to come back to the same home after work and not worrying about making a 7 hour drive every other weekend would be a huge stress relief. It seems very likely so far (fingers crossed) that we will be put together, so I'm really excited!
Once all the paperwork and approval goes through, I'll have to pack up my house and get moved out pretty quick, but there's no telling an exact date yet so ahhhhh. That'll be the second move in a year, 5th in 4 years.
We've adopted a second kitten (Bear), who has been a handful but definitely a good addition to the family. He keeps the older kitty (Sam) company and they make for some cute siblings.
My job has been a little inconsistent with scheduling, as well. I haven't gone a solid month on a single shift in the last half a year, which for me is one of the hardest things to adjust to. This month, I'll have switched between days, swings, and mids in the course of 2 weeks, so I'm coming home exhausted and can't seem to catch up on sleep enough on my days off. Working throughout the night is an absolute killer for me, especially when the mission is outdated, but what can ya do
I haven't completely abandoned art, despite my hiatus. I appreciate those of y'all who have stuck around. I'm trying to force myself to set aside some time for myself but that doesn't always happen.
Here's hoping to a more predictable and steady future lol
