This is a collaboration done with the talented AlectorFencer. The pencils are done by me and wonderful watercolors by AlectorFencer. I am quite pleased with how this piece turned out not to mention how much fun it was to work together.
This picture is an original painting and will be at the Anthrocon 2013 artshow!

Paint mediums can be deceiving.
One who is not trained in the medium may have easily mistaken this for an oil painting or acrylic on bristol board.
Assuming one traditional medium is another: like in this case, can be a common mistake for someone who is new to that particular medium.
Throw in the ability of digital programs and their capabilities to replicate traditional mediums and confusion can happen easily.
