If you were at the last gaming meet, you might have seen it. If not, here's an updated shot of the shelves, practically dripping with old games, and all playable at my monthly gaming meet (minus the sealed copies, of course). Not pictured is my other recently-purchased NES (also not working) and my other SNES (that works very well).
NES - 164
Genesis - 32
SNES - 58
N64 - 61
Game Boy - 17
GBC - 11
GBA - 18
PS1 - 35
Dreamcast - 27
And if you'd like to see what I've got, check out https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet.....leFVNelE#gid=8 for the details. If anyone is into trading/has some games I don't already have, feel free to make an offer.

...I've never had anyone ask? I mean, you're welcome to bring whatever games you want, but I wouldn't suggest bringing anything you aren't planning to play. If you wanted to trade or sell or whatever, I might be interested, but maybe not the WHOLE collection. Send me a note, I'm curious what you were planning to bring.
Oh my goodness, my husband and I have like... 5? of those walmart shelves, and I think they're pretty decent for being so cheap. We use them for games, books, movies, displaying figurines and plush... As nice as it would be to pick up more expensive display shelves, I just can't bring myself to spend around $100 on a shelving unit, especially living in a loft apartment (STAIRS EVERYWHERE).
Agreed, $27 for a full size shelf is a decent price, and I'm probably going to have to get another one. I have another shelf split between DVDs and my more recent games, and I'd migrate the games from that one to be closer to the others.
If you want cheaper shelves, I suggest checking out Craigslist or thrift stores. People get rid of surprisingly good things.

Sadly, we scoured all the Goodwill/Thrift Stores around us. Some of them had somewhat decent shelves that could have used some repairs on them (such as being pretty badly scuffed or chipped)... and trying to sell them for $80-$100.
Call me picky, but if I can get a "brand new" shelf for less than $30, why would I spend $80 or more on a beat up, pre-owned shelf?
