Happy Holidays from us to you!
Havoc was SO excited to see Santa??? I just....wow. xD I can't get over his giant smile. He's such a happy dog, and he makes so many people happy. He has taught both me and my family a great deal about owning this breed of dog, and it's something I will cherish forever, right along with him!
(Ignore the red spots on his feet. x.x; He has bad food allergies, and we're still working to find a good food that won't set him off. If you have any suggestions, please PM me! I'm open!)

He's actually allergic to Salmon and all whitefish. So he can't have any fish or fish meal. X: No oils either. Right now he's on Canidae, which seems to be working for the most part -- but it's hard to find the ;perfect; food for him! He's almost always allergic to one ingredient. xD
Oh no! Poor guy. California Naturals Grain Free...it's not cheap but it has an extremely limited ingredient list. http://www.californianaturalpet.com/products/1101 This link is specifically for the chicken one....if I remember right, they even have a frequent buyers club.
Well, as long as price isn't a deterrent, then there are some great limited ingredient foods out there, California Naturals is just one good example. Another good one is Natural Balance, and I know that they have formulas without peas. Anywho, you have a very lucky pup, some people just don't care enough.
How committed are you to at least trying raw? XD I had a GSD with severe skin and food allergies and tried EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN (I am not kidding, I went through 10 years of trying foods) until I finally switched both her and my cat to a ground raw diet. INSTANT 180 DEGREE IMPROVEMENT on all of their health conditions, no joke. Also, both the cat's and dog's poop... stopped stinking. This was the biggest benefit to ground raw. XD NO MORE STINKY POOP.
There are a lot of commercially available ground raw diets out there, and there are a LOT that are available in pet stores nowadays that are suitable for dogs, but a lot of them have veggie/plant or non-meat ingredients that Havoc might actually be allergic to.
My GSD had to be put down three years ago due to mammary tumors, but I still feed my 15-year-old cat a ground raw diet, and her chronic kidney disease is actually getting better (no miraculous recovery, no cure, and she'll still die of it, but her blood tests and urinalysis show improved numbers over the years she's been on a fully raw diet).
This is where I buy all my ground raw:
https://www.hare-today.com/
It's already premixed in the perfect meat-bone-organ blend, perfectly ground and ready to go - I just have to add the appropriate feline nutrients (which I buy directly from the site too!) I'm not sure what the process is for dogs - I bought Ember's food from a different place where they premixed in the appropriate canine nutrients.
Anyway, I can't recommend raw enough. It's fantastic. It's what they're SUPPOSED to be eating. It's a lot of work, yeah, and it takes up a LOT of room in the freezer, it's annoying to thaw out, it's risky (you have to be careful how you store it and prepare it), it's messy, and EVERY SINGLE VET you talk to will treat you as if you are a complete asshole for feeding your pet raw (all the while ignoring the health benefits it's obviously giving your pet and ignoring the fact that dogs and cats are pretty much biologically EQUIPPED to eat raw meat) but it is totally worth it.
If you want to talk to me about raw feeding any further, just drop me a note, I have plenty of life experiences with it XD
