Subject: Rex J. Wolf
Species: Wolf/Fox
Age: 13
Special skills: Proficient with long-range weapons, very low reaction time, very fast and agile, very sensitive hearing, able to fit through small openings
Status: Alive, Immune
Weapon loadout: 1x Ruger American Rifle, .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO
1x Ka-Bar field knife
6x homemade incendiary devices, thrown
Days since outbreak: 247
Rex is surviving the zombies in style. His '64 Jeep one-ton has a 4x4x0.25 wall box tube front bumper, which has proven useful for dealing with the infected. Not half as useful as the apparatus on the side of the truck, consisting of more box tube with several tines off of a harrow welded to it (whoever decided to use that is either slightly twisted or watches a lot of The Dukes of Hazzard). For long distance lead delivery, he has a .308 caliber Ruger American rifle with a 3-12x42 riflescope. As a backup, he carries a Ka-Bar standard field knife.
He's currently taking a break from making molotovs and reflecting on the last several months of dealing with zombies, and remembering rule 32: Enjoy the Little Things. He is enjoying a refreshing bottle of IBC root beer. Not just ANY bottle of IBC...possibly the LAST bottle of IBC that ANYONE in the UNIVERSE will EVER en-
*snap*
"Damn. I think there's one out there..."
There is really no way to prepare for an outbreak of violent, raging cannibals who want nothing more than to devour your face and everything else you would rather keep intact. Kasey the Husky makes do by taking it one day at a time. He started off on the densely-populated East coast (which is where the outbreak originated) and made his way West for three reasons. One, it's more sparsely populated. Two, it's a great opportunity to see the country; and three, did somebody say endless road trip? When driving is your favorite passtime, this is a once in a lifetime chance! Kasey dropped by a WWII museum and picked himself out something nice. Namely an M1 Garand and as many en bloc clips as he could find(those display cases are hard to open without an 8-lb sledge). The 70-year old rifle still shoots like a dream and keeps the enemy at bay, just as it was designed to do. The steel butt plate even makes it handy for beating heads in.
