..."YAAHHH!!"

So I feel this is very overdue. When I was a wolfaboo, I used be really into both GNG and GDW (the animes, that is), and they influenced me as both a writer and an artist back then, for better or for worse. Even though my obsession with them has since died, I still have a large sense of nostalgia, a certain fondness, associated with them, so I felt it only right to pay homage to something that was such a large part of me way back when.

So here, have a Weedo. Don't get me wrong, Gin always was, still is, and forever will be cooler than his son, and I could go on and on about why Weedo just ended up not being a very good character, but I'll spare you my rants. I simply drew Weed here because I've recently been rewatching GDW, in which Gin only shows up for a few minutes, so it seemed slightly more fitting to have Weedo instead.

Those who have watched GDW will notice that I actually added his tora-ge markings, which in my opinion make him look much more appealing. I always wondered why he never had them, as they always refer to them, not to mention they went to all the trouble to animate Kagetora and Tesshin, which suggests that complexity wasn't the issue. I suppose we'll never really know. Either way, I'm decently happy with how it turned out, though I'm not very happy with how the effects kinda ruined the shading. Ah well, it's good enough.
