My night ball
I saw you there so bright you left me stunned that night. Your word moved me like beams of crystal in the night. I had to chase you, my night ball. I held you only for a moment you could not stay my night ball. But when light faded again there you were to guide me in the dark, your light seemed dimer, fainter, not like the shimering crystal silver of the orb that you called the name I gave you. As dawn broke you vanished again and I miss you more deeply, the lonely traveler who guides me, my night ball.
