4.53/5
look: 4.5 | smell: 5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5
Enjoyed this beauty right out of the bottle, 22 oz. No glassware
APPEARANCE: Aggressive pour yields not much in the way of head, just a half finger of off-white bubbles that fades quickly, leaving sparse filmy bubbles across the top and no lacing. Body is a translucent orange with hints of burnt umber in places, truly beautiful in essence, a tone of earthiness really pervading the color.
SMELL: I really get hints of caramel-corn, almost like buttered popcorn kind of aroma to it. Very comparable to both warlock and Crème Brûlée, so it must be something in the spicing. Much more than one note, like a chord on a violin. Nutmeg. Allspice. Roasted pumpkin.
TASTE: Bonafide pumpkin reins heavy, yet able to keep that savory-sweetness, partly because that caramel smell is just so cloying that it really impacts the flavor. Butternut Squash. Vanilla bean. Crushed milk thistle.
PALATE: Viscous, medium-bodied, low carbonation
OVERALL: A great fall beer that I certainly wish was sold year-round; even if it's stock for a pumpkin beer, it's certainly good enough to live up to the hype.

I worked at a LCBO warehouse here in Ontario, CA, and I saw this stuff go by on the lines during Hallowe'en time. Always wanted to know what it tasted like.
There's another one out there called Smashed Pumpkin. That's another one to try.
Bonus beer: Game of Thrones Stout. Haven't tried it, but it exists.
