Amorous review

Good evening everyone! this is your lovable reptile here, I am here to review a currently unfinished game Called Amorous! Concept created by Jasonafex and kabier along with help from a few other people In the amorous team! you play as a grumpy man whom was laid off of the job And has become reclusive in his own home, your brother coby whom notices your down-in-the-dumps attitude And suggests you go to the towns nightclub known as amorous!

Here you meet Several people enjoying themselves in the club, a few people however Stand out, Theres Jax! a lovley Passionate chameleon whom works the bartending job and sure puts on quite a show for it! he looks bright and happy on the outside but Something lurks underneath

Theres Seth, a frankly Adorable and shy Feline whom is Struggling to get his writing career and tries to curb his sense of holding onto the past in regret, so far he's the longest champaign but has the most heart to his charachter! so personally its more rewarding once you do finally become a serious date

You also have coby! an adorable Blue bird of some kind whom is flamboyant and flirty and overall just a charachter! a laugh and smile, He's been with alot of partners and is the guy that helps you start this whole journy in the first place, but his personality is kinda flat beyond his flamboyant and teasing nature, and its rather easy to get to his end goal, so perhaps not your best option if your looking for a long loving rewarding relationship

There was this one other person, the only girl you can talk to so far In the game but i forget her name since there is no option to really date yet, she is some sort of cosplayer and only really feels comfortable when in costume.

So now that we have the story and charachters out of the way lets actually get to the game itself...shall we?

(The gameplay)

the gameplay consists of a point and click playstyle like practically every other dating simulator Out there right now, you can click on people or areas that highlight as red and either interact with the person or enter another room, Basic stuff but you really dont need much for a dating sim, It gets the job done and it would easily work on a tablet device in my opinion! An added bonus is that you can create your charachter And his body will actually be colored right in the Sex scenes and any part of the game that you can see yourself, Since the gameplay is really simple lets just move onto the presentation

(the presentation) The game Is a gorgeous masterpeice! made by jasonafex and kabier themselves the game lays way for gorgeous hand drawn and digitally enhanced backgrounds, with such detail only a true professional can put into this! and being jasonafex's work he has also included his typical computer animations, usually reserved for Charachter animations and sexual scenes between you and your date.

Oh and need i say about the music? every track in this game From the Morning feelings you get at the coffee shop, To the Nightclubs Sick beats that will make you want to take a few shots and shake those hips! to the more casual tracks, all of these tracks are masterfully composed and will be stuck in your head for days, Especially the smooth jazz tracks and a coulple of the club tunes, However despite all of these good things...this game is flawed

(the flaws) bugs whilst not common are prevalent in this game! with text turning itself into a mess! sometimes the dialogue says the word &player& instead of your name, the game can be a laggy son of a gun, with dialogue i found it way to easy to miss parts of a conversation and risk screwing up my date because i doulble clicked, my suggestion would be a next button once the dialogue has stopped so this mistake is at least very avoidable, also all of the choices you have for Dates are pretty much just submissive, I as a submissive man was hoping that at least jax would want to top my charachter in the sex scenes, But all hope was lost when it dawned on me that all your really can do is slam there asses! sure its fun and all but thats not alot of freedom for a dating sim thats trying to give you freedom to choose here.

Granted this game is Pretty much incomplete (i meen its only the 3rd alpha!) so more then likley these problems will be fixed as time goes on....heres my final score
